Worst customer service. Nobody wants to help. Even the manager sets up appts saying he'll help and doesn't even go in.

I would like to begin by saying I had a horrible experience in a corporate Verizon store in Downey that made me want to leave Verizon as a customer And from all people a manager. I walked into the Cerritos location and was met by yet another Manager who on my eyes deserves a promotion. I explained my situation and Ricardo was more than happy to help me. I didn't have the device I needed to return with me so he told me to just bring it in and he would be more than happy to help. I did indeed come back the next day. But by that time I decided I really didn't like the way I was treated and told Ricardo my apologies, in spite of what we spoke of yesterday I've decided I I would no longer like to be a Verizon customer. He expressed his sincerest apologies and went about trying to disconnect my service. He was extremely patient and very understanding and empathetic to the situation so much so I decided to keep my service with Verizon, and I truly believe if it wasn't for Ricardo, I would not have done so. I wanted to Thank him for being so kind it went a very long way. I will never return to the Downey location under any circumstances but Ricardo and the Cerritos location was able to help keep a customer.

Awful customer service!! It's a joke , they gave me the run round. Who trains these people!

I had a disappointing experience today with the staff at this Verizon store. The representative I dealt with provided me with inaccurate information and gave me advice that was unhelpful. I won't be returning to this store in the future. I recommend saving your time and visiting another Verizon location where the staff is more knowledgeable.

I went with my mom to switch my Spectrum account to Verizon, and the gentleman who works there informed me that it would take 7 to 10 business days for activation. I was concerned about not having any service for that long, so I asked if there were any other options. Unfortunately, he told me that there were no other options available. This made me question his knowledge and expertise, so I decided to visit another Verizon store. Surprisingly, they were able to switch from spectrum to Verizon and activate my phone within just 10 minutes.I want to caution others about potentially receiving false information from that particular store. It would be beneficial if the management could read this review and provide additional training to the staff member who was working there.Date: January 29, 2024Time: 11:20am

This store is close to the gym I go to. But on Sunday by the time I got off of work, I decided to try the Verizon store by my work which turned out to be a not so great experience. I got the feeling that store, not Cerritos, was too busy and it was close to closing time so there was no rush to help me. I decided to try Cerritos which was what my instinct told me to do. From the time I got in, I was politely greeted and told one person was ahead of me. The man was very nice and helpful. I waited and the young man who helped me upgrade my phone was very nice and also helpful. I saw other people being helped in a positive way and everything seemed to move along smoothly. There was no rush to be done right at closing time. If there was one, I did t notice. I'm so glad. I came here and if I need anything again, I will continue coming here to Cerritos.

Wonderful reps who care to resolve issues with minimal wait time.i have been using this local store for years and each time they serve with care and humble and polite attitude.Many thanks and wonderful near year wishes

If you go to this Cerritos branch, avoid staff Julio.Hey Julio, I don't know why you're working there if you're not willing to help the customer. I went to the Fullerton branch and the staff there were kind and helped me with everything that I requested of you.

Eslin was the only person to help me when Verizon Corporation was charging me for a $1200.00 phone order they lost. It took over 2 Months to resolve and she used her internal contacts and did not quit. Tom

Verizon has been given me a hard time for 3 weeks now trying to replace my cell phone that I lost. Oh well I will keep trying

I was looking for someone nice to help me see if I had an upgrade available on my account.. unfortunately the person who helped me was rude and unhelpful. It seemed like he only wanted me out of the store and spent most of the time on his phone instead of giving me options with my account.

BE WARNED ! I went into the Cerritos Verizon store as I received a letter that my cellular bill was going to increase this I wanted to see if there was a better plan ( which there wasn't so there was no need to make changes to my current plan ). While reviewing other plans with Julio, he took it up on himself to order the 5G home internet equipment without my approval or my consent. I immediately noticed an additional fee on my account about 30 minutes later after walking out . This Julio guy is clearly taking advantage of people and it didn't surprise me that other reviews have mentioned him and the manager Ricardo. I returned back to the store and I advised the manager Ricardo and Julio that I never approved or ordered 5G Internet service, and the manager Ricardo appeared to not care and told me that it's a free trail ( never acknowledging his employees wrong doing of approving services that I the customer never requested) and there will be no fees if I return the item before the free trail is over. Never once did they mentioned that there is a $45 restocking fee so really your still paying a fee even if you decide to return the item before the free trail . I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with either Julio or Ricardo per their response and their demeanor during my conversation with them so I called customer service immediately which continue to help me in this situation as I am still dealing with the return of the item. Verizon responder- when are you going to escalate these reviews to the fraud department? It's obvious by the reviews you have employees ( Julio) that are commiting fraud and or taking advantage of customers at your Cerritos store. I have been a customer for 17 years and although I can go elsewhere for the same service and pay less I have stayed with Verizon due to them providing me with good customer service in the paste. I hope that you really look into this store, your employees assigned to this store and clean house.

I was assisted by the new manager Edwin and Eslin and they were wonderful. Very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I had a few issues that I needed help with so it took long but it was great experience overall.
