We're so happy we went with the local option for our moving pod, instead of going with PODS, etc. The level of service was excellent, and felt very personal and human. Pricing was excellent, and they were incredibly reliable.

Cardinale organized a competitively priced cross-country move for us at short notice. We called for a quote on Friday 5/24 - the day before Memorial Day weekend - and they had an estimate to us based on an in-person survey by COB Tuesday 5/28. The price was competitive with shipping 2 PODS + hiring loaders/unloaders at each end. The paperwork was done quickly and the office staff + estimator were extremely responsive - even including a shuttle service at the other end in the original price. On June 11, 2 weeks after the survey, a courteous and responsive crew loaded everything quickly. They wrapped all the extra items we requested be transported extra carefuly.
After the goods were packed, they kept us informed. All items arrived on the opposite coast literally 8 days after pickup! Out of all the things we shipped, there was only damage to 1 dresser but that could have happened anywhere along the way. (They're a United Van Lines agent and a lot depends on the driver and crews who handle it once it leaves Cardinale's hands.) On a move of this scale, some kind of damage is always possible.
Overall, the parts that were in their control were handled extremely well and professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again .

Cardinale was one of the first companies we reached out to for quotes for an upcoming move and they were incredibly helpful!
Gustavo conducted our pre-inspection and he was fantastic. He carefully inventoried everything in our home giving us a thorough estimate of the amount of space we would need to move our belongings.
Due to our moving timeline being VERY short notice, we ended up going with different movers (only one day earlier from what Cardinale’s availability but we needed to move ASAP).
However, Cardinale and Gustavo’s communication throughout the process was impeccable and very straight forward. I’d absolutely recommend them for their customer services alone!

Great experience from start to finish! We used Cardinale for a storage container to be delivered to my property while we completed a home renovation. Adam was so helpful in helping me choose the right size container and placement on my property. Delivery and pick up of the container was super easy and efficient! I couldn’t be happier! I would highly recommend this local company.

Leo and his crew were experts at their job. When they all put on gloves before moving my mattress I was amazed (and quite pleased). Using runners and wearing booties inside to protect carpets was also standard practice. All were friendly, courteous and kind. This was our third time using Cardinale and we will not hesitate to book them again!

I work with many warehouses across the country and Cardinale is top 3 for me. If you're shopping around warehousing or commercial moving in this area. Cardinale is worth the peace of mind.

BEWARE of Cardinale Moving & Storage practice of bait and switch. Cardinale's representatives come in and tell how great they are and how they will take good care of your possessions They tout their years of experience and its a family operation. Then when valuable items are missing and damaged they announce to you that that is not their responsibility when all along they led you to believe that the experienced Cardinale family was with you all the way. That is not the case. They now tell you that you must file your claim with the claims department of United Van lines even though it was Cardinale employees that created the problems. We moved in Nov 2021, we have receipts of missing items and photos of damaged items and copies of forged signatures by Cardinale employees on exit documents. It is now May 2022 and still no resolution from Cardinale or the United claims dept. on over $10,000 of missing or damaged items.I can not express enough how devastated we have been from the missing and damaged items. A business that creates such havoc, especially one that claims and charges "white glove service" should take responsibility and change directions.

Cardinale movers was hired by my family to move them from Marina California to the state of Washington. My Aunt and Uncle had a big 2 story home about 2000sq feet that was packed full of furniture and personal belongings from over 40 years of owning their home. The men that packed things up were very respectful and very friendly. They really made sure everything was packed carefully. All the Korean furniture was wrapped up with plastic to protect the Mother of Pear decorations and they also used thick blankets. When the huge moving truck arrived everything was packed up very carefully and the truck driver was so funny saying he was going to move the furniture to his home. ( Joking of course ) The furniture arrived in Washington state safely and was put into storage. My cousin said everything arrived safely and in good condition. She did find a few items that should have been thrown out in the garbage but otherwise everything was good and Cardinale once again did a fantastic job. When I am ready to move from my home 2200sq ft I will definitely call on Cardinale for professional help.

BEWARE! Lots of broken and stolen items. Made moving a nightmare. Thousands of dollars worth of damaged and stolen items. Company has not make good on any of it. Will have to get an attorney. White glove service? What a joke!

So sad! Monterey is my home town..so I chose this local company. It was the worst moving experience of my life. The 2 movers were aggressive, they argued with each other from the moment they arrived. I had to yell to them to "stop it!" This was my childhood home, it was stressful enough...There was no follow up..phone call..email.nothing from them after they pulled out. I had the delivery date, but no one contacted me as to what time or to confirm.. I did not feel taken care of, at all! I left a message with Melchor, who I've known since high school, and I never received a call back. I finally called the owner and shared my experience. He listened and was said he was sorry, but that was it. What ever happened to good ol customer service?!
