They charged me $275 to ship 140 lbs. once it arrived they hit me with a $400 additional freight charge saying it weighed over by 70 lbs which it wasn’t. Even if it were, why charge almost twice the original charge?

The manager Steve gave a quote without transportation method. When questioned about it, he claimed everyone in the U.S. knows it. That sounds like a 5 year old. I had to hang him up after telling him at least 3 times that was the end of the conversation. Not being able to own your part of the issue and trying to lecture your client are not gonna get you what you wanted. He insisted that the delay of 5 business days was not their responsibility since that was caused by another logistics company whom R+L gave my cargo to. LOL. We gave our cargo to R+L. We expect R+L do its job. Your issue / deal with your vendor does not matter to me. We closed our account with R+L immediately. It took the company more than 6 month to persuade us to try them out. Steve successfully turned the business off within 5 minutes. Now in order to get us back, they are offering credits more than what we requested. But, NO thanks.

Had a shipment delivered by RL. I requested it was delivered to my job, but the day of delivery they asked if they could deliver it to the billing address since it was "already loaded on the truck". My wife didn't feel comfortable going outside with the delivery driver to walk the unit herself and wanted me to do it when I got home. So she signed for the delivery.Not only did they drop the pallet off the truck and ruin a $3,000 air conditioning unit.They didn't disclose the damage to my wife upon delivery. RL stated since it was signed for we were responsible for the damages even though I have video of them driving it down the driveway with it damaged.Not only is this horrible customer service, they are taking no responsibility for there mistake.

Brian Lopez with R&L Transfer delivered our product on a large pallet and his service was fantastic! He went out of his way to deliver our product inside our business establishment instead of dropping it off outside and it was hot outside. Highly recommend Brain with R+L Carriers for your delivery needs!

Stacked on top of crate which was clearly labeled, "Fragile -Do Not Stack", crushing top of crate. Luckily contents were over packed inside and still intact.Only reason for 2nd star is convenient 4-8pm pick up hours at warehouse and friendly service.

Worst delivery experience ever!!!!! The delivery guy was so rude I had a pet grooming tub to be delivered to my business they arrived I opened the door thinking they'd come in they left my tub on the sidewalk said they don't bring it inside I was like umm how am I supposed to get it in I'm a girl who works alone and it's 200lbs he said well I'm not gonna hurt myself taking it off the jack into the shop and walked away I had to pay someone to come help me get it off the sidewalk so stupid I complained to the shipper about using their service in the future they're the worst.

This Monday 3/22 I received a verbal estimate of a Friday 3/26 or Monday 3/29 delivery to site in Atherton, CA. That's 5-7 days. Today on 3/26 my new estimate is 3/31 to Terminal in San Jose and at least a few more days from there to the job site in Atherton, they estimate 4/2 or 4/5 depending on how busy the San Jose Terminal is. The three items arrived in Denver 3/24 and now on 3/26 are still in Denver and not yet loaded onto the next truck even. Denver is an 18 hour drive from the job site. Three days to just transfer trucks in Denver when off on the estimate (delivery in up to a week given less than a week ago) by 100% according to the new estimate is a complete failure of customer service and job fulfillment.

Please be aware of this company. Once they get your shipment and lose it or can not find it you will never see it again. Their customer service just hung up if you try to figure out what is going on. We will need a lawyer to get it done so maybe it is better just to hire someone else to avoid problems with them.
