Had an unpleasant experience with Branch Manager Ashley. I was referred to her by a friend because I had some issues with my account. Said Ashley was really nice and could probably help me. The whole interaction Ashley just seemed to not want to help or care. At the end of the visit instead of saying have a great day or thank you for choosing Chase I got “Next time so and so sends me problems, they should let me know and I’m gonna tell them.” It was not professional and didn’t understand her rudeness if I was never rude to her. Left me with an unpleasant feeling and not wanting to bank with Chase ever again! Chase customer service had advised me I could walk in to the branch for immediate assistance with my account. All her answers to any of my questions were schedule an appointment in the app over and over. It felt like she didn’t like something about me personally which I don’t understand.

Had to make a stop to grab some cash for reasons I don't feel like explaining. As I enter the branch, I'm greeted by Ashley, who I later found is the branch manager. Ashley was genuinely pleasant, warm, and welcoming. I had a question about a personal matter, and she answered with knowledgeable feedback. She even offered helpful tips and tricks to make the process easier when I was ready to deal with the matter. As I was finishing up with Ashley, she directed me to the teller line. That's when I was greeted by Marrisa, I was in my work holiday scrubs, and she noticed my dinosaur holidays socks. We laughed and giggled bcuz we had so many things in common. We eventually got around why I was there (lol). Marrisa also helped me with some tips and tricks to utilize my digital wallet from my phone. I was unaware of some of the features my phone had. I thanked her and was able to go straight to the atm and take care of what I came for. Saving time because the bank is crowded on Fridays! I wanted to take the time and highlight Ashley, the branch manager, and Marrisa, the associate teller. They both were genuinely friendly, inviting, and helpful. Guests relations are a hit or miss at this point. But this branch has definitely set the bar high for customer satisfaction! Everyone is always friendly and laid back. Stay with it because the reflection is bright!

My 1st interaction wasn't good. It was a tad below average. 2nd Interaction brought it up from 2 to 3.5 Stars (Rounded up to 4).1st Interaction Could've been better service. The teller and manager were huddled together whispering, double/triple checking the check making me feel as though I was doing something wrong. Did I hand them some note asking for money? Did they see my face on the wanted list? Made me nervous for no reason. 2nd interactionReference the Chase Bank Brea Office ReviewI called this branch and got Nicole. She helped me to understand why Chase would not cash the check I had. All the Brea Branch, including Manager and Assistant Manager said was "No." without explanation. Nicole explained it fully to me. She made sure I understood their policy and why that particular check couldn't be cashed.

Opened a Premiere checking and savings account with $15,000 so that I don’t get charged the $25 monthly service feeWell guess what? They charged jt anyway and when I told the manager she said it was because I don’t use my accounts muchWhen I tried to close the account I was told they don’t have the $15,000 and it would take 90 days or more to put it in my account90 days later and I can only withdraw $400 so now it’s $14,600 that I have to wait on and was told it’d be another 3-6 months and they cannot waive the monthly service fees eitherI’m not mad

The customer service here is top notch!!! I have been to a lot of chase banks and I will drive out of my way to visit this branch! I needed Foreign currency last minute and was trying to call around to different chase branches in my area not once did I get an agent to answer the phone they just went to vm!. Finally I drove to the closest bank in Fullerton on Harbor to be greeted by a rude teller that gave me the phone number to this branch. When I called the agent on the phone was so sweet and let me know they had foreign currency and the hours on Saturdays. I drove to the bank and was greeted by Flower C and she was so helpful helping me with my foreign currency. Even the security guard at the door was nice. Terrific place to bank!

Jenise is the best banker of all time, I had a huge problem about my account being closed, I went back and forth like 10 times, she did not mind and assisted me amazingly,great banker I've ever seen, thank you jenise

The security guard at this bank is super rude. This is the second time I walked in and she was very off putting. The first time I just wanted to use the ATM. She yelled at me and told me I had to stand outside in the line. She never asked what did I need help with. When I told her I wanted to use the ATM inside she said Oh. Never apologized. I see why the ATM line outside was long. Avoiding rude guards yelling at you. Today I walked in and she started yelling at me again about my mask. I had a mask on but she said I needed to change the type of mask and that her NEW boss would make me put on a different mask. I explained I never had an issued with my mask before. It completely covered my face and no air could get in or out. She went to the bank manager to tell on me. The bank manager didn't care. He waived her off. You cannot greet people at a bank in this manner. Why? It's like you hate people. Get a job where you do not have to interact with people.

Great experience with my recent visit even though it was a Monday morning too my surprise I was able too get in/out fairly quicky. My teller Lonnie helped me with what I needed and was very pleasant and professional.

Machines do not replace people. If you have a question, don't waste your time calling. I called many times over three days because this is the only branch in the area that carries foreign currency, so of course I wanted to make sure they had the kind I need. No answer, ever. When I finally had the time to come in person it's obvious why I never got an answer-- there's nearly a dozen ATMs in the building and basically 1.5 tellers behind the counter. I spent way too much time traveling to this location and waiting in their ridiculous line to find out they didn't have what I need. If only they had a device where you can talk to a human being and find out information beforehand....

Horrible Service.Horrible service, now with the pandemic; The employees take advantage and do not want to serve people, all the employees waiting for the 8 hours to go by so they can get paid and the customers waiting outside in the parking lot for them to enter one by one, what an exaggeration

Denise was very unhelpful waited 30 minutes in line she marked up both of my checks and then told me she could not cash them after taking a 10 pee minute break. This bank has more 1 star review then any other star.... I should’ve listened

Most efficient and professional branch. Went to Wilmington branch on PCH and was treated so poorly I left and drove to Avalon branch. Ashlee, the Branch Manager is so professional and friendly, as is Jazzmin. Thank you, ladies for making my transactions go so smoothly!
