Mario and Bryan are THE BEST dynamic duo! My husband and I love coming in to see these two whenever we are in town. We came in originally for our engagement rings and band, but use them for all our jewelry needs now. If you’re looking for honest people with high integrity work, this is the place to go! Mario and Bryan could not have done a better job helping me to design and purchase an engagement ring for my wife. They truly take their time to make sure you are comfortable throughout the process. They have a ton of knowledge and experience designing custom jewelry. They can find the diamond for you through an extensive network or help you to design a custom ring for setting a diamond you’ve selected. Couldn’t be happier. I would give 10 Start if possible.
I can’t explain how awesome Bryan is as a Gemologist. My now Fiance and I went ring shopping a while back and I had no idea what to look for. Bryan took his time to explain the clarity scale, flawless scale, size of the rings, shapes and colors. His knowledge and understanding of the numerous diamonds and rings are on a whole other level.
When it came time to prepare the ring, with the perfect stone, Bryan found the Jack pot!!! A beautiful long oval diamond with a halo, and with his recommendation, he was also able to create the perfect matching wedding band.
I can’t recommend Bryan enough as he doesn’t see his customers as a dollar sign but as someone in need of guidance to find that jewelry for that once in a life time special occasion.
Can’t thank you enough Bryan

Love this jeweler! Great service with wonderful designs. We just picked up the third ring from La Rennaissance on September 9, 2023. The new ring was just perfect along with the other two. Guys, this is the husband speaking. And I have to say how totally impressed i am with my wife's new jewelry. Each ring is just beautiful. An added feature is the total integrity of Mario and Bryan. After buying a few wonderful pieces here over the last few years, this spring, I commissioned a one-of-a-kind ring - a purple saphire flower. It turned out even more beautiful than I could have dreamed - Mario and Bryan found someone to cut the sapphires for them, and they are perfect. They also found a way to make it sturdy enough (they know I am rather hard on my jewelry) without losing the delicate design or light. It is my favorite piece so far!

We bought our wedding rings here 30 years ago and love them. Mario designed them. We bring them in every once in a while for cleaning and for him to check the prongs. One of the prongs holding my husband's diamond was broken off so he replaced that one. He also sized my ring. When we purchased our rings, Mario showed us several options and did not pressure us. We have been very happy with our choices and have received many compliments over the years. There is also a case of jewelry designed by Bryan and these are beautiful as well. I highly recommend this small jewelry store.

Great service! Bryan was super helpful and advised me about my wedding rings. My wife has allergies to some metals and they basically developed an alloy for her! They did all that in very short notice and with the best price possible. I recommend the place 100%.

I feel so lucky to have meandered into Renaissance one day because now I have the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. Mario and Bryan are the dream team. Knowledgeable, honest, fair and above all Mario makes stunning jewelry. My husband wanted to upgrade my engagement ring so we began working with Mario and Bryan to make the perfect piece, and perfect doesn't even describe. We got to pick from multiple diamonds, collaborate on the design and get a one of a kind piece. My husband and I are beyond happy. Mario also cleaned my jewelry, tuned up some pieces that had some wear and tear and spent time educating us. Bryan is the yin to Mario's yang (more like and old married couple), he's front of the house and spends time with his customers, never rushing and always listens. Can't say enough about our experience. We now have "our family" jewelers. Thanks you two.Edit. Today a woman at lunch came up to my table and said she couldn't believe how sparkly my ring was from across the room. Love love love it.

Such an amazing experience here this weekend. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and in search of bands to commemorate the occasion. We had been to multiple jewelers in both Carmel and Monterey, and no one could give us exactly what we wanted until we came here. The amazing people here made custom rings in less than 48 hours for us, and we could not be happier. They will be our jeweler forever, and we will definitely be back!

Just recently got engaged and was able to pick out my fiancé's ring thanks to Bryan and Mario. I walked in having an idea of what I wanted and Bryan took that idea and guided me to an even better one with no pressure at all. He gives you options and opinions and is totally willing to go with whatever you want to do. You can tell they value making quality items because they want to make sure that your items not only look great but will also last you a long time. I came in with a time crunch, didn't have much time to get my ring made. After talking with them about it, they were very quick with providing multiple options and designs. By the time I left, I felt I had all the time in the world under their care. Mario did an amazing job making the ring, my fiancé is absolutely in love with it and it is all thanks to Bryan and Mario!

I walked into La Renaissance Jewelry looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I had an idea of what she would like with the help of her friends, but me personally, knew nothing about rings, cut, clarity, setting, etc. From that moment forward Bryan and Mario gave me all the options that were in my price point and explained to me what I was getting. What an amazing experience!! My fiancé and I were wonderLing around this cute little town browsing for wedding rings. We were moving from Seattle to Carlsbad- made a little road trip out of it as our belongings were in transit. We happened upon La Renaissance and started chatting. Both Bryan and Mario did what NONE of the others jewelers did... they listened to what we wanted, gave suggestions and ideas to our thoughts and promised 'What ever you want We can create it, and you'll love it - I promise' They did exactly that! and ended up creating my absolute dream wedding band! I LOVE that it is an original - made just for us. They went above and beyond throughout the entire process... right up to the point of having us both try on our bands while we were not looking! ( I didn't want to see mine until I was saying I DO :) When he put it on my finger and it was time to say I DO, I glanced down at my ring, and broke into tears - the band was exquisite, the brilliance of the diamonds was shocking! along with the emotions, friends and family, the perfect day... completly took my breath away....
