A very nice linen store, they can create any monogram you want on your selection of fine linens. A beautiful store that has been a long time staple in Carmel.

I ordered some robes here for a friend's wedding present and they were beautiful and luxurious! UPS was unable to deliver the package (through no fault of Jean de Luz) and Brigitte also dealt with the annoying process of re-sending my package to a different address and was so nice and helpful throughout the process. Love this place!

We visit every time we're in Carmel-by-the-Sea, even if just to look. Found this place by accident a couple years ago, and purchased lovely bathrobes that we had custom embroidered. Just returned over the weekend, and the owner graciously snuck in some custom embroidery on hoodies we'd purchased elsewhere before they closed for the day. Delightful shop!

Normally love this store, and love browsing. New location is great. But I was in last week, and the 'Chatty Cathy' working in the store (not the owner) would not shut up and leave us alone. It was downright annoying, and made for an unpleasant experience. Instead of taking our time to enjoy the store, we hurried out instead of being harassed. Thus the 4 stars instead of 5.

INCREDIBLY RUDE store owner!!!!! Especially in a time like this, you'd think you would want business. Snobby and NOT WEARING A MASK. Judged completely on our clothing, despite us being paying customers. Will be telling all our family and friends to never shop here!

Absolutely terrible! I will never bring anything here again! The service was fast and the monogram font was adorable, but it was done entirely way smaller than I wanted and it's not even centered! My daughter's romper is now ruined.

A couple of weeks ago My husband and I were in Jan de Luz Linens and Brigitte helped me pick out a couple of aprons and have them embroidered with initials as gifts. She was with us every step of the way. Imagine my surprise when the aprons arrived and the embroidery colors on one of them was completely wrong. So I called her to ask what happened, and she started yelling at me! She didn't offer to do anything about it, and really, just kept yelling. I double checked with my husband who had heard the instructions in the shop- and he said it was all very clear and she knew what was going on. I know. Sounds small, but what a way to treat a customer.

I ordered an embroidered bag. Never got it. I asked 45 days later what happened. No follow up. I wrote again and said just refund me. Still haven't gotten that.Best to go to the store and buy and don't do any orders.*I finally got the bag in July. But I got it!
