I took a day of pampering in Carmel recently. I had no makeup, hair was out of sorts lol. But these ladies treated me like a queen and selected the most perfect pink cashmere poncho. Wonderful little boutique with great selection of stylish, hip (but not trendy) chic clothing that’s well made and fits great. Terrific saleswoman, Diana, was so helpful. We enjoyed the entire shopping experience. A+

First, the salespersons are SO nice and kind. Helpful but not pushy. Second, clothes are superb. Third, I love the my anorak long nylon vest I purchased AND plan to call them and order another one. Thank you! -- Recommend highly.

Came into this shop on Wednesday. The sales person was not very pleasant and made you feel like you were bothering her for coming in. I did end up buying a pair of earrings but definitely thought twice about doing that. The owner of this shop should pay more attention to his/her employees and their customer service. If this person was the owner then that's even worse.

My favorite boutique anywhere for many years. Always a nice selection of tasteful clothing perfect for a casual chic lifestyle. The owners and staff are consistently helpful and friendly. Their store in Healdsburg is also a favorite.

I have never been treated so disrespectfully. Came to Carmel for a romantic weekend and while my husband was playing Golf @ Pebble Beach I decided to go shopping and kill some time. The women (I hope wasn't the owner!) seemed so annoyed that I wanted to try on a couple of items before I made my purchases. When I asked for a small in one of the cashmere sweaters she had the NERVE to ask me if "I knew this sweater was $180.00?" I said yes and??? I found several beautiful items which I set on the counter to purchase.... this rude women then proceeds to belittle me again and remind me that the return policy isn't very forgiving and was I sure I wanted to purchase the items? Are you kidding me? I was only spending $900 and that was just my first stop of the day. Too bad for you moving forward! I would come back the next time I am in Carmel but I choose to stay away from uppity nasty boutique's that aren't really "ALL THAT". I am quite sure that I deserved a little more respect and will advise all of my fellow front line working nurse managers to stay far away from this store as apparently they think treating customers with disrespect is acceptable. I will take my business elsewhere and spread the word about my experience.

BUYER BEWARE While most of their items are reasonably priced, there are some items that are grossly overpriced. In addition their return policy ( which is taped flat to their counter) is not readily visible. It's very prohibitive allowing only STORE CREDIT within 7 days. I realized the item I purchased was overpriced and not that unique. $400 for a simple cardigan sweater. I tried to return it less than 24 hours and the owner refused to credit my charge card. I was not aware of their policy and pointed out it was not readily visible. She again refused. I had been a customer over the years but no more. Lastly the item I bought was made in China and labeled cashmere. I have travelled extensively in China and know for a fact that sometimes even if it is labeled cashmere, it may not be cashmere. I'm not claiming this particular item is not cashmere however one should be mindful that this problem does exist. Bottom line: purchase was made less than 24 hours, item was over priced at $400. I was an existing customer. If I were the owner I would want my customers to have a pleasant fun experience. Not the case. I don't want the item, and I will never return. After I tried again and stated that per California law the notice needs to be clearly posted, a day later she claimed two "witnesses" ( an employee/ friend and friend - "not biased at all") heard her state the policy ( if this was so, why wasn't that stated when I first contacted her). Simply not true. Also the policy is posted in the dressing room. I did not see it because more than likely it's after the fact.

Love this shop! Lovely folks run it and what all others said is so true! Owner has a great eye and finds really fabulous pieces. Prices are great. It is so peaceful shopping there!
