Amazing service, even better prices and most of all honest work! Couldn't pass my car for a smog test due to a check engine light and bad sensor called this shop and they took me in the same day and fixed the sensor and gave me back my car by closing time, just as they had mentioned on the phone. Just passed smog today with no issues at an unbeatable price. FORD dealer wanted $175 just to diagnose the issue! So glad I found this shop! Highly recommend!

Virj is great and incredibly reasonable. I think he dealt with a frustrating situation with payment because of my insurance, but he’s been patient and still got my car fixed and going despite delays on their part. I will definitely be going here and recommending friends and family come here for all future car issues.

This is one of the best repair shops in the San Fernando Valley. I recently had a massive oil leak that could have ruined my motor and engine. I ended up needing a tow here. After their assessment, I had my oil cooler pipe and hose changed. Haven't had a problem since. That was a couple of months ago. They provided great service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

I won't go anywhere else for service for my work vehicle and personal.car. Berg and his staff are always there to help get me back on the road. Today was an oil change on the truck and brakes and rotars for the Nissan. I appreciate this business and its professional care.

Berj is the only mechanic I trust implicitly, and his kind and intelligent guidance has never steered me wrong.From telling me to avoid anyone who tries to sell me a timing belt (my car has a chain) to giving me a heads-up on things coming due so I can save for them, this shop and staff are just incredible.

Here's another 5Star review for United Auto Works and Berj. Instead of repeating what you'll read in the countless other 5Stars reviews, here's one point to add which I hadn't read. Speed. UAW has six repair stations each equipped with a vehicle lift. Not to mention, Berj employs multiple mechanics. UAW is therefore not a small operation. The shop can handle multiple jobs and get them done in a very timely matter. What's more, if the job is one which requires a little extra attention, you'll get a reliable estimate on when the job will be finished. I speak from experience. I brought my fiance's car to Berj last week. The estimated cost for repairs on a two-day repair was a shock. He explained our options and got our car back on the road. After talking with her about what to do, we decided on going ahead with the repairs. I called-in and made an appointment to bring in the car first-thing the following Monday. On Sunday, I noticed a pretty gnarly coolant leak from my car. I drove her car there and told Berj about my issue. He said "yeah, bring it in, we'll get started on her car and take a look at yours." Point being, he found my WRX needed a simple repair and I had it back the same day. As far as her Ford Edge. Just like Berj suggested, the major repair was done and we picked up her car before the close of business two days later... Before I close I gotta speak to the common points brought up in previous reviews. Affordability, knowledge and integrity.When I answered the call from Berj about our Edge he shared what he found, what repairs were necessary and how long the repairs would take. He eventually had to drop the bomb on me. A four-figure bomb at that. He said that the car is road worthy and it is ready to be picked up. And left it at that. So of course, I called around for a few other quotes, but I'm just some dude off the street/Google search results. UAW was far and away much less expensive than the other shops I called for second opinions. While it's always hard to suck up and agree to costly repairs, I know a good job was done on our Edge, as well asy WRX. THANKS UAW and Berj! If anyone is in need of a reliable repair shop, your's is the first I'll recommend.

Berj is a unicorn: he's good, honest, and charges fair prices. Usually, you'll only get one of those qualities (or none) in a mechanic.I don't typically leave reviews, but Berj deserves to be recognized. My family and I have been taking our cars to Berj for decades. Sometimes he gets a little busy and can get backed-up, but that's because so many people trust him with their vehicles.Seriously, read some of the other reviews. Everyone loves Berj. Listen to me, a random, faceless stranger on the internet, you can trust Berj with your car.

So rude to customers everytime I’ve been there for an oil change…. I’ve been there few times and was rude, pretentious, and condescending when I asked a question about my car to him. Miserable and sad. Don’t recommend when there are so many other shops who appreciate their customers and are kind to them. Doesn’t need the business or care to treat people like that ?
