If you’re looking for an honest,professional mechanic go see Maurice. He fixes my conversion van s AC very quickly because I was going out of town following day. A job that nobody even knew what the issue was. I’llbe his customer for life. Bravo to Maurice.

Maurice's business was recommended to me by one of my neighbors, and it was one of the most useful recommendation I had :) First of all, I like that I am getting a very personalized approach when bringing my car to Maurice. He would always discuss the issue, and, if applicable, also discuss various budget and complexity options. Secondly, I was impressed that a few times he took on some non-standard jobs which included making custom hardware parts and some tricky accessory set-up. Maurice is also very punctual, and would keep you well informed about the progress and pickup times. This, unfortunately, was not the case for some of the garages which I worked with previously, so I appreciate Maurice's reliability. Overall, I am very satisfied with the car service, and will certainly be returning here again.

Maurice is an Angel on earth. After being scammed by 2 other mechanics, Maurice's honesty and fatherly aura was such a much needed relief! My daughter's car was a danger to drive and he CARED! My car window and door were broken and some mechanical issues due to an accident. I was getting quotes from $14,000 to $16,000, and Maurice fixed my car for cheaper than anybody else. He is a good mechanic, friendly, and very helpful to his customer. I am glad my boss referred me to him, he personally took care of my car issues. Very good and honest guy, thanks, Maurice. I will recommend your shop to my friends and all the people I know.

Maurice at MEK auto is a top notch, honest mechanic. My 2013 VW Passat was blowing out hot air for months as I was going from mechanic to mechanic trying to diagnose the issue. I was getting quotes from $500-$800 saying I needed a new compressor OR condenser. The inconsistencies of diagnoses led me to get a final opinion, and that’s when I found Maurice. I called Maurice first thing in the morning and he encouraged me to come by that day to get it looked at. I pulled into his shop and he could not have been more friendly and professional. He explained to me why my AC was blowing out hot air in terms I could understand. He suggested dumping a bunch of Freon into my car as this was a the most cost efficient option and least invasive. He didn’t guarantee this would be a long term solution but to wait a few days and call back if the issue persisted. This was around 3 months and my AC has been working perfectly ever since. Could not recommend Maurice and MEK auto enough and have been referring my family and friends to him. 5/5 stars.Service: Auto A/C replacement

Maurice is a very nice mechanic, who cares about what he does. I came in with an air conditioner issue, which he took two rounds to attempt to fix over a week's time. The second time cost over $200 and didn't last the full day - hot air was blowing just a few hours after I picked it up. When he learned it wasn't working he suggested that I take it to the dealer for them to check it out. I did, and they fixed it perfectly. I'm giving him 3 stars for his professionalism, however, docking 2 as my car was not repaired.

I had recently gone in for a smog inspection at a garage in woodland hills and when they gave me a big fat FAIL for a check engine light for $70. They never told me where the leak was coming for or even the code related to the OBD reading. I called up MEKs and asked if he would be able to get a reading on the codes I had encountered. Within 15 minutes they had my car checked out and had the codes read and explained to me. I will be coming here for all of my current and future repairs!
