Abby was my consultant, and she was fantastic. I went into my appointment without high expectations for finding a black wedding dress, as I’ve never been one for tradition. Abby really listened to what I wanted and was genuinely excited about helping me find something unique. She made me feel comfortable and managed the big personalities in my group with ease. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her for any bridal needs. I found my dress on the first try and am now one step closer to completing my wedding planning. Thanks, Abby!

I said yes to the dress at Trudy’s!!! I had a wonderful experience working with Abby at my first appointment. She was kind, patient and able to help me narrow down exactly what I liked. A few weeks later I came back for a second appointment with Rebecca and was so impressed with her expertise! I had so much fun working with her to find the perfect dress. In the end she was incredibly patient and helpful and we said yes. Can’t wait to rock the dress on the big day ☺️

This review is for Kelly. She went above and beyond my expectations and hopes for my second ever (and first day of) bridal dress shopping experience (I'm in the R&D/fact-finding phase of dress shopping). She doesn't know this, but the consultant at my first appointment ever at a different shop earlier in the day made me feel like I wasn't trying on dresses/giving my opinions and thoughts on them right with her attitude, comments and stank face (it's literally my first time in these dresses, they cost a fortune, they're for a HUGE day, and I didn't spend my childhood thinking about and looking at wedding dresses...like, give me a minute). The experience at Trudy's and with Kelly was a breath of fresh air (understatement) and more than made up for my first appointment. This woman is a SAINT. Her energy/personality: 1000/10 Patience: 10/10 Kindness: 10/10 Effort: 10/10 Attitude: 10/10 Questions to get to know me and my vibe a bit: 10/10 I feel like she GOT me and my desire for an understatedly unique in my own way, modern boho dress. She was like the energizer bunny, picking out and bringing more dresses based on feedback like nobody's business. I had to be the one to say I think I am done for the day. She was doing the most in the best way possible. What an angel and a gift. I hope she's getting paid well and acknowledged within the company bc she is an amazing asset and deserves all the praise. Even though it was towards the end of the day, she had such a good attitude and kept making sure I wasn't feeling rushed or bad for my thoughts/opinions (and sometimes lack of strong ones!). 1000% would recommend her.

I had a great experience working with Didi to find my dream wedding dress! From the moment I walked into the boutique, she made me feel comfortable and truly listened to my vision. Her eye for detail, knowledge of styles, and ability to understand exactly what I was looking for made the whole process so enjoyable. She was patient, thoughtful, and ensured I felt confident and beautiful in my dress. Thank you, Didi, for making this such a great experience. Highly recommend to any bride-to-be!

I came in to Trudy's on a Wednesday evening and had the store to myself! My stylist Kelly was amazing! She started the appointment by taking the time to get to know a bit about me, my wedding, and my style. I showed her some inspiration pictures, some from Trudy's designers and some from other places just to get a sense. I felt like Kelly did a good job listening to my likes/dislikes and didn't get frustrated when they didn't match up with a lot of what was in the store. Kelly still found some great picks for me and was great about helping me in/out of the dresses, fitting/clipping them, and making me feel comfortable and confident. She made easy conversation! I did find a couple of dresses I really loved, but not the dress. I did ask ask about a few modifications offered from one of the designers (larger cup sizes) and the manager made it sound like that was not an option, but later, after doing some of my own research on the designer's website, I found out it was, so I would just make sure you do your own research and know what all the options/customizations available to you are before you buy if you're really serious about a dress. While I didn't ultimately find the dress at Trudy's, I did have a really positive experience and would definitely recommend the store and Kelly! I also highly recommend going on an off-time during the week if you can. You'll save money on the reservation fee ($20 for weekdays and $45 for weekends) and will have more of the store to yourself.

As the mother of the bride, I had no idea what to expect. Reading the reviews now, after the fact I’m disappointed to read that there’s an appointment fee. Not only that, if and when you purchase a dress they ask for a tip. Since when do you have to tip a consultant and pay for an appointment? I did tip Didi very generously hoping that she would do everything in her power to make the buying experience memorable. The wedding is just over 5 months away and we were told that it would take at least that long for the dress to arrive. Didi assured us that she could get the dress here on time. This was a Saturday. Monday after placing the order the bride was contacted and told that if she want to insure that the dress arrived in January she might want to pay an additional $260 which should guarantee that it would arrive the first week rather than the second or third week. Now this added stress of the not so sure the dress is going to make it on time and to allow the seamstress time for alteration is crazy. I’m sure that now there will be an additional rush fee charged by the seamstress.
I’m a little old fashioned and think that a thank you from Didi for the generous tip was/is in order. Also that her knowing the date of the wedding she would have said it was doable at the time we were shopping and then two days later changing her mine and asking for additional dollars when there was not refund on our end is inappropriate. You have 6 months and were told the month of the wedding to get the dress here. Do your job and stop asking for more dollars adding addition stress to an event that is already so stressful.

I visited many bridal boutiques across the Bay Area and NYC, from boutiques like Trudy’s to Galia Lahav and Berta while in search for my dream wedding dress. While I did not end up purchasing my gown from Trudy’s, out of everywhere I visited, I had the best 5-star experience there because of Jenn!
Jenn was so helpful and patient, had ideas on how to adjust things, and what veils would pair best with the dresses I was trying on. She was so genuine, sincere, and friendly throughout the experience — making me laugh the entire time!
When I went back home to NYC, we stayed in touch, and she continued to answer my questions. Although I did not purchase with Trudy’s because it was more convenient to get a dress in NYC, I truly had the best experience there. Jenn let me know she is always there to assist if my family or friends need anything in the future.

This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and Trudy’s provided an amazing experience. Jenn was great at helping me find a dress that I liked and she brought out a great amount of suggestions. I am a size 16-18 and they had a huge selection for me to try out. I would suggest this store, and Jenn, to anyone looking for a dress in the area!

Abby, the stylist helped me find the perfect wedding dress!! I couldn’t be happier, the customer service was on point and Abby helped me with so many selections to choose from and helped make my experience easy and more fun! :)
I would definitely recommend this place to other brides who are looking to get a beautiful dress and have wonderful people make their first time dress shopping special!

IF YOU AREN'T REQUESTING JENN TO FIND YOUR PERFECT DRESS FOR YOUR BIG DAY, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?!
Finding a dress is so stressful and I am that girl that has been planning her wedding since she was 12. Jenn was the absolute best!!! She made me feel so beautiful, made me laugh so hard and truly made the experience amazing. It was like having a close friend that I've known for years help me find my perfect dress. She had no judgement, so professional and the sweetest person I've met in a long time. If I could, I would invite her to the wedding.
A moment that I was so worried about, she ended up making the most fun experience of planning this whole wedding.
Request Jenn, you will NOT be disappointed

I made an appointment for a weekday evening and emailed prior to see if I could come early and browse dresses before my appointment. Judy the associate helping me and she was amazing! We touched base on the dresses that I found on their website that I wanted to try and discussed budget. For each dress she let me know the price and asked if I still wanted to try it on if it was over budget. When trying on dresses she asked me how I felt, suggested I move to another part of the store to see it in natural light, and also showed me what alterations and bustle options there were. When I narrowed my decision down to two, she advised me to sleep on it and didn't pressure me to make a decision. I really appreciated Judy's guidance during my appointment. A couple of days later, I scheduled a follow up appointment the following week with Judy again, and that's when I said yes to a dress! We also got to try on different veils and accessories during the follow up. Judy made the process so positive and smooth for me, thank you Judy & Trudys Brides for such a great experience!
