I've received a text that this store will close on August 15th, 2022.Belatedly, I wanted to say thank you to the staff and the pharmacists. As a caregiver, and with my own health conditions, I really appreciate everyone there. There's one pharmacist who really was kind to us, and a woman manager I've seen there for a long time who I'll miss seeing. These people have really done a great job, and it's sad that economics has done away with another nice, neighborhood store.

Lazy. I had a prescription for some analgesic gel and they told me to buy OTC. Rarely had the drug I used each month in stock. I have to say the techs are sweet and capable. But in general, way below average service as far as pharmacies go.

I had to make a quick pharmacy run while I was in the area. There was an older gentleman wearing a red shirt with a heart and I was not sure if he was an employee. When I asked him, he was pretty surly and not very communicative. Other than that, it was fine. The cashier was sweet.

FANTASTIC STAFF!! I had a great experience getting my Pfizer booster here (I am afraid of needles, and have fainted from a flu shot). I got there 5-10 minutes before my appointment (like the email said), and was seen 7 minutes after I arrived, so barely any wait. The new pharmacist Maya was amazing--she was very helpful on the phone before my visit (I had questions about my insurance coverage) and was super friendly. She talked me through everything, took time to make sure I was ok, and helped me feel less nervous. Because she chatted with me and did everything so smoothly, I barely noticed the injection! That never happens to me! Maya was the best! When I bought some things on my way out, Izel at the register was super helpful and maximized my savings (she added or enabled coupons/extrabucks on my cvs card and saved me ~$4-5!). She was also super friendly and welcoming. Usually it can be awkward when you're waiting for the card reader to accept your credit card, but she chatted and made it smooth. It didn't feel at all like she was there to just run down the clock; she acted like it was her own store and made the experience personal (and very positive). Aside from having great employees, this CVS was clean, well-stocked. Who knew that getting a vaccine from CVS would be such a pleasant experience? Thanks Maya and Izel! You deserve a raise!

I really like how they made this new CVS in the old ACE Hardware building in the same plaza where the old CVS on San Tomas Aquino Rd was. The store is always clean and well-maintained. It IS new so I guess it would be but hey I just have to mention that. It is A LOT SMALLER than the old one but for my needs it's OK. I only basically buy junk food here anyway, especially chocolate, and they always have that but be careful... their specials are good but they are really shady when it comes to displaying their chocolate they won't display too much at a time and sometimes only enough for the special will be on display so watch out for that trick. Other times they will hide things behind similar looking items. Those are just " tricks of the trade " I've picked up on being a saavy shopper here.
