I had an old concrete tile roof that was at the end of its life. Looking through roof options I came across Cal-Pac. I loved the idea of a stone coated steel roof, the benefits that it offers compares to a standard asphalt roof makes it a no brainer. Tom the owner was super friendly and quick to respond to answer any questions, and wasn't pushy at all. When the work started, their crew showed up on time everyday and always performed their work in a clean professional matter. Their workers really took their time to make sure the finished product looks as if it was their own house. It took around 5 days from start to finish and the whole process was a breeze. I am very impressed with the work Cal-Pac did and the new roof looks amazing, I have gotten countless compliments from neighbors saying how great it looks. I am getting solar as well and Cal-Pac worked with me and the solar company to schedule everything and work together to make the whole process easy. I definitely recommend Cal-Pac to anyone that is looking for roof work, you won't be disappointed!

On Feb 4, 2024 we had a vicious storm. Winds were said to have gusts up to 70MPH. We live next to a city park with 6 85' Pine trees 2' from our property line. Well, at 11AM the top 1/3 of one of those trees came crashing down onto the roof putting 2 holes in the metal roof and one end came thru the ceiling of the entry way. The Milpitas Fire Dept came out and sealed the holes the best they could and put a tarp up. I called Tom at Cal-Pac and he sent Brian out to do a temporary fix. The fix worked....no leeks. It took a while to get into the que for the permanent repair but once that time came Brian and crew came out, spent 3 days on the repair. I'm happy to say that the job was complete on Monday the 11th. I can't say enough about the team, their knowledge and hard work. And, btw, had it not been a metal roof that tree would have been in my living room I'm sure along with a red tag which means not habitable.

This past week Brian from Cal Pac roofing completed a sensational "tune up" of my metal roof. His work was so sensational that I wrote on his behalf a 'letter of recommendation'. Attention to detail. Knowledge of the details about metal roofs, and they are SO important. Total courtesy to the customer from explanation of the strategy to clean up at the completion of the job. It is hard to ask more.

We've had work done by Cal-Pac several times now and have always been quite pleased with their work. We first had a new metal roof installed on an addition last year. They did quality work and completed it on time, roofer was communicative and helpful. We've since also had a leak repaired (after the torrential rain this past winter)- CalPac was super busy with the many leak repairs caused by the rains, but they were able to squeeze us in within several weeks and did a good job repairing the issue. Finally, most recently, they repaired a bunch of dented roof panels caused by a solar panel company's workers carelessly walking on our roof. The repair was very tedious but CalPac's guy spent several days in the blazing sun meticulously popping the panels back into place and replacing them where needed. Would definitely recommend and work with again!

I am very happy with Brian's work. I hear Brain has 20 to 30 years of experience. Several people approached me with quotes on Decra tile repairs before I hired Cal-Pac Roofing. They either don't know how to fix it or suggest I switch to a shingle roof for more money. So I waited for a new decra tile order and it was worth the wait. The replacement worked perfectly. Basically, there is no need to worry about the replacement work of roof tiles. I highly recommend Cal-Pac Roofing.

I can't say enough about this company. Some years ago we had a total roof replacement that we were very happy with. The team from Cal Pac Roofing was so great to work with. But recently, due to our "atmospheric rivers" of rain that we have been experiencing, we found some issues with the roof that were causing some leaks. So stressful. Tom and his team were there to help, fixed the problem and again, were so professional and caring. I would highly recommend them for any roofing issues you may have.Services: Roof installation

It was pleasure doing business with Tom. We recently got some termite damages repaired on our metal roof and I was looking for roofers who know how to handle metal roofs. I got Cal-PAC roofing after a recommendation from a roof analyst which our realtor referred us. I also got the lowest fair price quote from Tom and the repair work was very professional.

It was a pleasure doing business with Tom. He gave us a very competitive bid, came prepared with material samples for the moisture barrier and insulation; his crew started the job on-time, did a fantastic job keeping the worksite clean, and finished two days early. I'd hire Tom again without hesitation.

Out of several companies that bid on repairing my roof leak, Brian Korens of Cal-Pac Roofing was the only one who had a clue. All of the other estimators were like, "well, we can't tell exactly what the problem is, but we'll do ___ and see if that fixes it." Brian was like, "oh, yeah, I've seen this a few times before, here's what's going on." Cal-Pac's bid was much higher than the other companies, but I thought it was worth it to get someone who knew what they were doing — and I wasn't disappointed.To be clear, Cal-Pac didn't show up with the impressive company-liveried truck or the uniformed workers or the fancy glossy brochures. It's clearly a smaller operation — and we all know, those can only stay in business by being really good. Brian and his helper worked on my house for eight full days, fixing the leak, replacing the gutters, replacing some rotted beams, and fixing up all of the other problems that I hadn't even noticed yet.
