Hometown bank with friendly and competent staff who balance taking individual time and care with each customer, and keeping the line moving in a timely fashion. I've been here many, many times and they always treat folks with care, but there's never much of a wait nonetheless!

I hate hate hate Chase Bank especially the Calimesa, Ca. branch. 1. They never answer their phones, (recording always says reps are busy. This applies to the Yucaipa, Ca. branch, also. 2. I make deposits for a business and make two tapes one from the checks and one from the deposit ticket. Every time, and I mean every time, they tell me it is wrong and then, oh my goodness, when I tell them to compare my tape to their info, they seem to find it. I have had to start going to the Calimesa br. more since the Yucaipa br. is closed. I have not had a lot of problems in the Yucaipa br. If it were up to me I would close the acct. and go elsewhere as fast as I could. Also the business has a very large amount in a CD and Calimesa can never find that acct. when I need info. I am a signer on the acct. so do have the right for info.

I didn't feel safe there. Due to Covid-19, they have 6 ft apart to wait for tellers. But their teller booths were customers are seen are probably 2 ft apart from each other. It should be teller, empty booth , then teller, to make sure customers being seen at the same time are 6 ft apart. Plus the teller Kathi that saw me was not friendly. I didn't feel welcomed. No hello, or thank you, almost 'what do you want' attitude. I did the hellos and thank yous, lol. She looks visibly pissed she had to serve me.I'm asian with a K95 mask on, no symptoms, trying to keep my distance from coughing customer couple 2 ft next to me. I only went to Chase Calimesa because Yucaipa and Redlands are not open on the weekends due to Covid-19. And I can't go on their limited hours during the weekdays due to work. I can't go to Calimesa again during this pandemic or after.

Horrible customer service. Julie is a rude inconsiderate teller. Went to cash a small check for my 80 year old mother to go and get her medications. The Branch wanted to charge me $8.00 for me not having an account. I explained to the teller Julie, what this transaction was for. Even called home on speaker so Julie could here this was for the account holder to get medicine. She denied the request. So my 80 year old mother went with out medicine. What a horrible thing this bank and Julie did to there customer. No amount of pleading and begging would get them to waive the $8.00 charge.

I want to open with the fact that if I could leave less stars I would. I have been a member of chase for most of my life and until today have not had a single problem with their service ,at a branch or elsewhere. However this branch has by far the worst service in terms of private client banking. The teller on the other hand was much more polite and friendly.

I just hate Chase banks. Every single time I ever go into one, I have a frustrating experience. People having two last names isn't uncommon... so this is the second time out of two visits at this location that I've been aggravated. The worst was this time the teller Lori insisted I endorse the check to match my account. I had the two last names before I opened the account and my signature today is the same as at set up. Then I started trying to re-sign it (although my signature isn't legible and I only have one) to appease her and she was so unclear when she said it had to be above. I was signing above the line and there wasn't really room above my first signature. Manager Steve came over and I explained that I specifically asked before opening my account with Chase if I could deposit checks made out to either last name and all he did was try telling me about legal vs preferred name... which I was never asked for to begin with. I'll either stay out of their branches or switch banks!

Wanted to consolidate some of my accounts from other banks into this one as I just moved into the area after retiring. Tried to call several times for info and no answer- machine said call back. I need a bank that will answer the phone when I call. Theres "laid back" and theres unattentive.
