Was put into some poorly performing mutual funds because E. Jones gets kickbacks from company. Found out E. Jones has been fined for this in the past and still continues shady dealings. Needless to say I was figuring it out by myself that my best interests were not being met when I was told by the advisor that I could not get more of other funds I already had when in fact I could. She later changed her story that I could, in fact, get these funds. Don't think she ever realized her contradictory statements. She also did a sell-off of some of my better performing funds when she should have sold off more of the poorly performing ones which does not help me in the least. I have since taken control of my financial future elsewhere and I am happy to report I am earning a lot more now. Sad state of affairs at E. Jones.
