Jeannetta is an absolute professional. Wedding dresses are complex and not to mention expensive so you want to make sure your gown is handled by a highly skilled seamstress. Jeannetta is friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. Her alterations result in something that looks like it was never tampered with. She leaves no evidence so you simply cannot tell and it just looks as if your gown was made for you. My wedding was planned on a whim and she was able to produce quality work in a relatively short period of time. Everywhere else would have taken double the time and for double the cost. If you want high quality and affordable work, you can have it all with Jeannette!
PS: her bustles are amazing. If you’re on the fence about getting them, like I was, I’d say it was totally worth it!

I had a great experience here! I got my dress a bit late and it needed some alterations.. I called several places and they said they wouldn’t be able to do it in time… Jeanetta got it done in less than 12 hours! I was blown away by how fast it took her and how great the dress looked. She is also so sweet and loves to get to know her brides which I really appreciated. Her store is very cute and cozy and you can tell how much she loves her craft. I highly recommend getting your dress alterations here!

Jeanetta got my wedding dress fitting PERFECTLY and has such an eye for detail. She gave my dress a french bustle and made the process seamless for my maid of honor to help with tying it up when the big day comes. I couldn't recommend her enough.

Jeanetta saved the day. I ended up moving my wedding date up and got my dress delivered to me 4 weeks before my wedding day. The dress I wanted only came in on time at a size 10 and I am a size 2.... Jeanetta basically remade my dress in less than a month. She altered my dress slowly and had as many appointments with me as needed to make sure the dress fit perfect. I had no idea how this was going to happen, I'm so glad I found Jeanetta

I was devastated when I received my dress from Coco Melody. I got measured at the store and tried on the dress and what I received was a completely different story. Coco Melody was of no help, they even had the gall to insinuate that maybe I got fat. I felt like there was no way a tailor could fix my dress, but my husband encouraged me to let someone try. I was shocked at how well my dress fit me at my final fitting. Thank you for being a legitimately talented tailor and saving my dress!

I wish I could give Jeanetta 1000 stars!!! I came to her shop desperate as I had bought a second wedding dress from Santee Alley for my wedding. I bought my second dress a few weeks before my wedding. As my first custom wedding dress was a disaster. She listened to my vision and made my fairytale dress come to life in such a short amount of time. She literally did the UNTHINKABLE and while staying on my budget. She made my Santee Alley dress look a like a million bucks. She even had mesh/materials that matched my skin tone which was very hard to find someone who could do that for me in LA.She was very accommodating and made sure my dress was absolutely perfect, up until the day before I got on the plane to my destination wedding. She also gave great wedding advice along the way and comforted me the entire time. It was like I gained a friend within that month. She is my hero!!!!! <3Service: Alterations

Working with Jeanetta was my favorite part of the whole wedding dress shopping experience! Jeanetta is professional and accommodating. She made me feel very comfortable and all in all it was a very fun experience. When I got my dress from the bridal store.. I totally experienced wedding dress regret.. but when I brought it in to Jeanetta she brainstormed a way to make it the dress of my dreams. 10/10 would recommend!

Jeanetta was a joy to work with, and I can't believe how beautiful my dress turned out! Jeanetta is a talented, decades-long career professional who specializes in the craft of bridal gowns and cares about her clients. She wanted to know all about my day (travel/climate/venue/dancing) to make sure the alterations supported me through every moment of my destination wedding. As a petite BHLDN bride, I was nervous to purchase a non-custom dress that was originally very big on me with heavy, floral applique. Jeanetta was not phased: she did wonders with the delicate fabric and I could not tell where she cut. She added in a bustle, a backup bustle (!), undergarment support, and removable straps so the weight of the dress would be supported during travel... things I would have never have thought of! I appreciate her asking all of the right questions and being so invested in my day... she even steamed my dress for me at no extra charge and provided me with recommendations on how to keep everything look pressed for the big day. It's rare to find a craftsperson with this much knowledge... and even rarer to find someone who genuinely cares for their clients in a big city like Los Angeles. I cannot recommend her enough.

I had an excellent experience working with Jeanetta. She was kind, thorough, and honest. She saw me multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. My dress was taken in approx 2 sizes, and it was hemmed as well. She also added a bustle for me. She always made me feel comfortable and she did a great job. I don't know what I would have done without her. She made my dress absolutely perfect. I would recommend her to anyone who needs dress alterations, especially for wedding gowns! THANK YOU JEANETTA!

I got my wedding dress tailored with Jeanetta and she did an absolutely amazing job! She was very helpful in having me figure out what it was I wanted for my dream day! She put bussles so that when it was time to dance I was able to move around without the train being and issue! She also was very attentive with making sure my dress looked long but I didn't step over it as I walked down the aisle. She also suggested getting bra cups inside that way I had a little push with out having to wear a bra at all. I'm an RN and my schedule can be pretty hectic and she was able to accommodate me as well as my mom, mother in law and bridesmaids that all got their dresses tailored with her. You can tell she has years of experience and is very knowledgeable about dress tailoring but as well as anything wedding. She made my dress absolutely stand out and gave me tips on how to make sure it stayed beautiful throughout my special day!
