Over the years I have bought many SAS shoes, however I will never buy shoes from this location. For Christmas my brother bought me a pair of shoes from this location. Unfortunately my brother chose the wrong size. I took the shoes in today and asked if I could do one of two things. Either 1) I wanted an even exchange for the correct size, or 2) I wanted to exchange them for an even more expensive pair, and I would pay the difference. Instead I was told that they could not do anything without a receipt, and even that was an exception to their policy as you are supposed to make all returns/exchanges within two weeks or purchase. As to the two weeks, that is just ridiculous. I do not know how much before Christmas my brother bought the shoes but even if he bought them the day before Christmas, some of us have other things to during the holidays and running back to a store within two weeks, especially that time of year, is just unrealistic. Then there is the no receipt issue. I have never bought an item that was hundreds of dollars (these shoes retail at about $250) where the customer service was so poor that a receipt was required. They could tell these were SAS shoes, they could tell they were new, they could tell they had never been worn, and because they were a gift I never had the receipt. I have worked in retail before, and everywhere I ever worked made it clear, if a customer has a return, don't even ask for the receipt - it is terrible customer service to do so. So now I am left with a brand new pair of shoes, that do not fit me, that I cannot do anything with. Why would I ever return to this location? They clearly do not want my business.

The 5 stars is for the fit and comfort of the shoe brand. The service is ok. The shoes are aprox 100/200 each pair. I've been wearing my sandals for at least 5 years - so that's like $40 a year which isn't bad. They are sooo comfortable. I've climbed mountains in Mexico in these sandals. Wide feet, plus size shoes. Shoes for old people- this is where it's at. I'm in hospitality, so on my feet up to 10/12 hours a day. They hella ugly, but super comfortable.

I spent over $1k in these shoes and every one causes me untold pain in my feet, legs, knees and back that I never have with other shoes

The staff extremely friendly and taking the extra mile. I hope they get truly acknowledge for that. They truly know about their products there which is a bonus. Not a lot of retailers have staff that know their products to The smallest details. We will be coming back thank you guys for the experience and definitely for truly making this experience amazing for being a retail shoe store

SAS makes shoes that are excellent quality and super comfy. I've worn them for many years now, and the pairs I bought for my elderly father, he said were the most comfortable he'd ever worn.

The soles on one of my walking shoes was coming unglued - the outsole from the midsole. The other shoe was fine. I had these shoes for about a year, they were the 6th pair I purchased from the Burbank store. I took them back asking if they could fix them or if there was some special glue I could buy to fix them myself. There was no one else in the store. I was met with an EXTREMELY RUDE older man at the front counter - a total curmudgeon. He took one look at my shoe and said, "take them to a shoe repair store." He was not willing to do a thing, no partial refund, no other suggestions, no credit for a new pair, nothing. I could have gotten better service from a rock. If you are going to shop there, make sure that guy is not there (he's older, with a grey gotee and blue eyes). The sales ladies have always been very nice and helpful. The sales ladies are good, that other guy is not.

I came here with my mom to purchase a pair of shoes for Mother's Day. Considering the price of the shoes ($170) for walking shoes and their stingy return policy, my mom was asking a lot of questions about the fit since she recently had foot problems. The rudeness of the Latina salesperson at the cash register and the older man named Ernie, who looks like the owner, were talking about how she is asking "too many questions." I was appalled at this behavior for them to say this within earshot thinking I would not hear. Totally uncalled for and not professional! If you're going to be a salesperson, your duty is to answer questions, whether you think it is too much or not. Also note that they write out their receipts and calculate the final sales price manually, so please do your due diligence to make sure they're charging sales tax correctly. Fortunately for me, I'm not part of their demographic and WILL NOT be in my golden years. Will be surprised to see how long this company will last in years to come.

Took my grandmother to get some shoes for her trip coming up. And she wanted to go to SAS. I'm glad I knew of this one in Burbank. We were super satisfied with the help and expertise of Amy and Ginny! They went far and beyond to help my grandmother out. Super patient and very helpful to my grandmother's needs. I never had a reason to go in there, but I'm glad I got to take my grandmother because I met two amazing women! Hidden gems of SAS shoes and Burbank!!

This was my first time visiting SAS Shoes, and I'm really glad I went. I've started having bony protrusions on the sides of my feet near the toes that are called Tailor's bunions. I walk my dogs just about every day and it was starting to be very painful. At SAS I was helped by Amy, who was friendly and helpful. Even when I had already decided to purchase, she went out of her way to be sure to stretch a spot that was still a bit snug so the shoes would fit perfectly. They're not inexpensive, but they seem well made and I'm sure they'll be worth it. I'm happy to say that thanks to SAS, I now have shoes that will make my dog walking and other outings much more comfortable. No doubt I will be a repeat customer.
