First of all, Mane Teasers is a woman-owned establishment. THIS fact alone should have you booking an appointment with them. "Go, woman power!" I recently visited Mane Teasers because my hairstylist -- who I had for years -- decided to "retire" from hairdressing and venture into another, more lucrative, and completely different profession or business. When I was looking for a hairstylist, I really wanted to find one who was local. I LITERALLY have been passing by Mane Teasers in my car for over twenty years, but I never stopped to walk in. Thank G-d, I did. Because of Kathy's knowledge of hair texture and opinions on how I should wear my hair, I really appreciated her expertise. I will definitely be returning to them.

Thank you to Kathy for doing such an awesome job coloring and cutting my hair. This was my first time at this salon and I chose it because I love Aveda and all of her positive reviews. She is definitely a color expert. I am thrilled with my color! As for the cut, I asked for a blunt cut and she gave me a blunt cut. For some reason stylists always want to layer and texturize my hair, which makes it stick out all over. The real test though, is when you wash it and style it yourself. I am happy to report my hair is super easy to manage. You rock Kathy!

Absolutely love it here! Kathy is amazing at what she does. You can tell she cares about all of her clients, and I always come out of the salon feeling like I've caught up with a friend. She has been doing my color for over a year now and is excellent at creating a natural color that still looks great even when I don't touch up for 6-8 months. I also love how she cuts my hair. She takes her time and really listens to what I want. I couldn't be happier! As a bonus, the salon is super reasonably priced!

Thanks for your review C.S. I second your review! I've been seeing Kathy for over 10 years and I can't believe how time flies. Both ladies are so professional and indeed do care. I have always loved Aveda products and this salon is no exception. I can find all the products I need and Kathy goes out of her way to ensure her shelves are fully stocked . Just love the Aveda aura and the calming atmosphere. It's my relaxation time I look forward to every time I step into their doors. Bless you Mane Teasers. Absolutely fabulous cut & everytime I go there. I have been getting Kathy to do my hair and always get lots of compliments. It grows out so nice I only go back every 3 months so that makes the cost worthwhile. You do need an appointment so call ahead.
