Rent anywhere but Hertz!

No one was at the rental office when we arrived (albeit 9 minutes late, I’ve never had to be on time for these?) 10 minutes later when my husband finally found staff behind the building, we find out the car wasn’t ready 20 minutes after the rental pick up time, staff was incredibly rude and had multiple stories and explanations for why that were very inconsistent, and then after 25 minutes she wasn’t able to ever get the system to rent us the car. Ended up having to pay twice as much after waiting and wasting way too much time to rent through the airport. Would absolutely not recommend. Short staffing is the customers problem, and staff will be overly hostile about its impacts on them while not helping you out at all.

Gracie was awesome with helping me get my rental car she was super friendly and answered all of my questions that I had.

The person at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. The entire process was quick and I am very thankful that they could still accommodate me even after missing my pickup time the day before. Thank you so much for making my day a little less stressful.

Where do I start with these greedy clowns, they NEVER have standard cars available it's always conveniently a high dollar car that they are more than happy to bend you over for, save your time and money, Enterprise Car Rental is 1/4 of a mile North of these thieves. It is their loss, I stay here frequently and rent cars almost weekly.

I had an in counter with a manager name Mars had just helped a customer really nice I come up to him and ask a question about AAA discount and he tells you need to put it in when you place the order otherwise we can't do it do to Hertz policy I informed him that they have at the other Hertz location have not ever said that to me and they have always helped me with a lot of curtisy His response to me was well next time go back over there and prompted to tell me in front of the other trading manager he why you look like you have a problem stearing at me and I got up seti called him out He continue to say look let's get him out of here I don't shan't to deal with him anymore I informed him that I will be reaching out to the Whittier office to help me better than taking this guys trash talk

The agent from hertz inside holiday inn 7000 Beach blv.saide: the gas 3/4 &1/8 front the hotel , I took picture to the meter inside the car Nissan kicks sv 2021 it was 1/4 &1/16 also dirty, the agent not nice with the customer. Rent date : April/02/22 . Also the car as many of the other cars under the trees ,so not clean in & out so I found a Big Spider inside the car , was lucky because I killed it

Booked a car online because my car was in the shop. Reservation was confirmed, spent $15 to Uber to the location and was very rudely told by your desk staff that they “don’t have any cars”. When I explained my situation and ask why it let me book, the woman looked annoyed and stated “that’s a problem with Expedia not us. Sorry.” And basically dismissed me. I was displaced for a full 2 hours trying to find accommodations for a vehicle. I won’t ever rent from Hertz again.

I used to rent from them before I covid all the time they were always very customer service oriented and very kind the girl helped me today with kind but it was stupid because I only used 2 credit cards for rental cars and I've never had a problem before using Them or cash at Hertz and now it all had to come out of one card which I had just used it on some mouse I didn't have it all there but I had 2 credit cards to win more than enough and they would not take my other credit card for the deposit which is ridiculous they aren't gonna lose Customers being that ridiculous and picky because there's nothing wrong with using the 2 credit cards one was for a deposit 1 was repayment of the car plain and simple I will not be going back there at all I would go be going right back to enterprise rent a car

Waited over 25 minutes for an employee to come to the counter so we could return the car we rented. The original pick up was just as slow.
