“When my 2015 Outback started sputtering while accelerating at lower speeds, I took it to Carlsen Subaru and they couldn’t diagnose it. Stevens Creek Subaru told me it was a coil pack, which they replaced, but that didn’t fix the problem either. They did discover seeping engine oil and quoted me such a massive bill that they suggested I buy another car. Thank goodness I found Barinder and Boxer Specialist. He discovered Stevens Creek put in the wrong coil pack, resealed the cam carrier and my Outback is running perfectly again. From now on I’m only going to Boxer. I highly recommend.”

“Couldn’t have asked for better service! From start to finish there was A+ communication. I really liked the online report since I’m not always available by phone. Derek kept me informed, made me aware of other issues they found, but never made me feel pressured to fix them.I was also surprised at how quick the turnover was. When needing repairs I won’t hesitate to take my car to Automotive clinic.My service was for alternator belt replacement, timing belt, radiator hoses, trans fluid and a few other smaller things.”
“This was my first visit to Fred's Wrenchouse, and I had a great experience. My repair could have cost more than it did, but they simply did what was necessary to make my car both driveable and aesthetically pleasing and I was on my way a few hours later. This process was made easier because after I dropped my car off in the morning, I was able to go around the corner to Pete's coffee and worked there for 4-4.5 hours on my laptop, and my car was ready to be picked up before 2 PM. Clearly, with all their high ratings here on Yelp, this business doesn't need another one, but I think it's important to keep reviewing so that new customers know they are still doing quality work, in a reasonable amount of time, for a fair market price, and not doing more/charging more if it isn't needed. I had the repair completed the first few days of October 2023, and 6 weeks later it's still feeling solid and my car drives so much more smoothly after the fact.”

Clear honest explanations of what was probably causing my problem... and guess what? It was a quick fix, cost me $16, took less than 30 minutes in and out... What would have happened at a typical shop? I highly recommend Pacifica Transmission. And I was glad to hear they fix more than just transmissions. “I had brought in a accord with some trans problem around 50,000 miles, 03. Spoke to Lenin who assisted me over the phone and in person like a profesional. Lenin as well as the mechanic team got my car done in 2 weeks with it feeling and performing better than when I picked it up. Car runs smoothly till today, got it serviced back in may of 2023. Definitely recommend this place for anyone dealing with transmission light and problems.”

“A few months ago, I took my 2018 VW Atlas in for an oil change, tire rotation, and recommended 40,000 mile maintenance. Their mechanic left air in my brakes and, as I was driving to work, the brake pedal went to the floor and I was unable to stop my vehicle if it was going at speeds above 30mph! When I drove back to the shop, needless to say, I was not happy. After leaving it to flush the air from the brake line, Jim (service manager) apologized profusely and summarily fired that mechanic (who also said I needed rear brakes replaced, which Jim inspected and said was not the case, saving me $600+). Jim then gave me two free oil changes as compensation. They do excellent work, are communicative, and, as is clear from the above, have INTEGRITY!”
