“Fresh pasta! Really good Italian food around the area with great flavor. Nice ambience! Got the short rib pasta and the shrimp and crab pasta. Great combo! Only thing is don’t get their tiramisu (it was the most average I have ever tasted…plus the owner said the alcohol is “cooked off” and completely safe to consume if you’re pregnant or if there are kids but you can clearly taste it. Go with another dessert option)”

“One of the most convenient liquor stores to go to for drinks, snacks, and liquor, basically everything I need and they have a great variety! The owner and everyone that works there are so kind and are helpful when you need assistance or have questions. I recommend anyone in the area to check it out.”

“The best Mexican food we've found in the area. I'm from San Antonio and my wife is from East L.A. So, no strangers to authentic Mexican food.We have lived in the Diamond Bar/Walnut area for 40-years. We've eaten at De Oro many times, tried many different menu items, and we have never been disappointed.I realize people have different tastes in food, different expectations, and different experiences when dining out. I feel bad for the folks who had a disappointing experience at De Oro.The staff is always friendly towards us and if they are busy and running slow, they apologize to us and bring us more tortilla chips. We know if there are a lot of customers or if they have a lot of to-go orders, it's going to take more time than usual. We are old and retired, but not everyone has the time or patience to wait and they leave a negative review. We have tried many Mexican restaurants in the area. I won't mention the ones we didn't like because, it's a matter of personal taste.Xavi's in Chino Hills was my favorite, but I haven't eaten there since before the pandemic. I expect they are still great. Pepe's in Hacienda Heights, The Durango in Brea (they didn't survive the 2020 shut down), the big Juancho's restaurant in Ontario (I don't know if they are still there), the small Juancho's cafe in Chino Hills is good for a quick take-out (they used to be better before Covid and they had to remove the "help yourself" bean pot), The Whole Enchilada in Diamond Bar before the demographics changed causing them to shut down, and Kalaveras. I can't be sure if it's the food I like or the atmosphere. I always have fun no matter which one I eat at, but I particularly like the small hole-in-the-wall one in Montebello. If anyone knows a better place in the area for Mexican food, I'd like to know.”

“Great selection of craft beer! A little hard to find things, though... A bit cluttered. You need to spend some time searching. Luckily, they are pretty helpful and can usually direct you to what you want.”

“The name is a somewhat true representation of the store. World Market does include many food and some other products and crafts from many countries around the globe.”

“My local spot for Lotto tickets when the jackpot is at least $300 mil. Always great service and I really appreciate the clerk who gave me a cool lotto ticket holder when he saw my beat up white business envelope.”

“Please spend your money here, you won't regret it!! They are respectful of CoVid restrictions and maintain A++ cleanliness. Also, please keep in mind as you read this that I have lived in East Brea since 1992, when this store, along with the Italian restaurant, were the only businesses operating in this center. I have seen many changes, but am writing this review because I am so impressed with Justin, the owner and how he will go the extra mile, literally, to make certain his customers are well taken care of. Example: Last night, A bottle of 1942 Don Julio Tequila was ordered as a surprise, celebrating my new job, by an out-of-town friend. It was ordered online through (Drizy?- I am not certain about ordering platform)...anyway, I discovered that I had the bottle in my hands within 15 minutes of the order being placed, which was a surprise to me....carefully delivered to my front door by Justin. (going that extra mile again!). Geez! It took longer for me to get my child to school on most days! Great CoVid adaptation and customer service keeping the doors open throughout the pandemic. We all appreciated (and needed) you! Ownership is in the right hands and the people who work their have character and care. East Brea can be traffic daunting. Living in Country Hills and visiting this little store, week after week, is similar to going into "Cheers"..."where everybody knows your name". You need something? Beverage, lunch, essentials?...whatever you need- they have it and Ryan, Don, Anabelle or Natalie will help you locate it, They are open long hours and I always leave with a smile. Thanks guys, for so many years of kindness and convenience. See ya when I return from Hobbs!”

“This store has a great selection of all types of liquors and beers. If you need any specialty items be sure to stop in. I was able to find green chartreuse on several occasions. Most of you know how rare that is. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable.”
