One of the cutest, most special vintage toy stores left in the US! The shop owner Gladys (who has been the owner since 1972! She’s in her 90s!) is the sweetest, and super knowledgeable on every toy in the shop. Everything from vintage Barbie to handmade, wooden toys, doll house furniture, miniatures, finger puppets, baseball & sports cards, plushies, collector Bears, and even Melissa & Doug products! She also has some Big Bear labeled merch - perfect for kids of all ages! You should stop in and say hi. A treat for the kids in all of us. She sometimes opens at 11:30 am instead of noon.

AMAZING TOY STORE and the SWEETEST LADY who runs it! If you're in Big Bear you must see this store! Not just bears, but giraffes, owls, deer, and others. All of great quality too! She also carries Melissa & Doug toys, puzzles, and games! Yayyy!

Best store in village. Awesome selection of toys, Gladys is super helpful. Even if you don't have kids or grandkids its such a treat to walk in there, lots of great developmental toys, and dolls and toys from when you were a child.

This store is full of great toys for all ages. We got a really cute bath toys and book set. She has madame Alexander dolls, stuffed animals, trains, educational toys and her prices are reasonable. The employee was very friendly and helpful. This is the best toy shop in the village. It is in a little alley way so follow the signs.

Signs everywhere saying where mask ?. Most of the servers, behind the counter were not. We left because who knows what they were breathing the ice cream ? and other food.
