These guys will steal your money. Placed an order, they sent me what I didn’t order, and will not refund me for it.

Wanna be treated like a second class citizen? This is your place to go! I feel like their hiring process is based off who could be the most insufferable and incompetent person. Associates will ignore you unless you're walking around with five Chanel bags around your neck. Not to mention their terrible quality. Bought a ysl bag here and it broke in 2 days the first time I wore it out luckily I was able to exchange but the quality you get is most definitely not what you've paid for. Go to Neiman...you'll get treated like a human there

Horrible customer service. The main woman was straight up rude and claimed an item was used when it wasn't (quality was that bad that she must have thought it had to have been used). Management needs to terminate this person's employment.

Truly appreciate how Saks takes pride in shipping items purchased by them. I order two pair of boots from them and they came boxed almost like a gift a very cool unwrapping experience compared to buying the very same boot in a different color from Neiman Marcus the product of course was good but there was no presentation in the shipping. So I appreciate that Saks cares about the details. Thank you Saks for keeping it classy!

Sadly, despite selling high end luxury goods, the service is poor. Phone calls are rarely actually picked up. There's no customer service extension, so you get forwarded to the online customer service (which I believe is in the Philippines) which cannot help with anything bought in store. This is the reason why stores like Saks and Neumann Marcus can't survive in the future.

Saks is just an awesome store! I've been a fan of Saks ever since I was born and still is. When you need some retail therapy, please do not forget Saks. It's always there and has been there forever unlike some other stores that just come and go. Stop by, I highly recommended! Ok now, bye.

Extremely RUDE customer service. Walked in to Saks and I obviously needed help and there were 3 sales associates just standing around. I literally made eye contact with all of them and not one of them wanted to help. They just stand around and when you ask for help they are so rude. Smh. Expected better customer service from such a high end store but everything has changed these days I guess. Not the first time this has happened.

Came to exchange a shoe for a different size. Worker brought out the correct shoe, however it was completely discolored and stained (even though brand new). He stated he would do my return "as a favor" and wanted me to go to another floor. After I pointed it out to him and he rudely told me "it's a lower end shoe you can't expect it to be perfect, if you want perfect buy a higher brand name like Prada". The shoe is $700. He stated my only other option was to either return the shoe or keep it. And This is not just him. 9/10 of the employees here do not want to help. They are rude and they are solely working for commission and they don't care to hide it.

Horrible customer service. Went in to exchange a skirt for a different size. I asked her if it was ok to do the exchange in her department and she told me that they normally do that on another floor (very rudely, like how dare I not know that) but she would make an exception because I was with my 2 month old son. I told her I could go to that floor. She then told me that since I was going to repurchase, she would do it (obviously wanted to commission). I wanted to look around a little more and so after returning the skirt, I told her I wanted to look around a little more. She said "well you wanted to exchange, so just buy it now." I told her I wanted to look around some more and she was very annoyed. She proceeded to follow me around, watching me like I was up to something.I decided to NOT buy from them and go to Nordstrom instead. They sell the same product I was going to buy and I've never been treated like that at a store. Also, I ended up having to use the "lounge" to feed my son. I used the one on the third floor behind Gucci. It was falling apart and not very clean. I was very surprised by that, too.

UPDATE: they stretched them and they don't hurt anymore. They did call me and I had another talk wi to them. Overall good follow up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased these OFF WHITE SANDALS not knowing in store that they were going to make my toes bleed. Yes. They cut my toes open and made them bleed. HAZARD!!! You won't know this till you actually wear them all day. They start to slide up against your skin and they make your toes bleed. SHAME ON SAKS FOR NOT TESTING THEIR SHOES OUT FIRST. &&&&&&&&& I walked them into a store to ask if I could have anyone HELP me with the issue, and the lady I spoke to had the nerve. Since she couldn't assist me, I spoke to a manager and she assisted me better. All they offered was to leave them overnight and stretch them out for me. THEY KEPT SAYING WE CANT RETURN THEM SINCE U WORE THEM. I NEVER SAID TO THEM I WANTED TO RETURN THEM. Bad customer service here. Very uncompassionate unprofessional NON EXPERT people working here. I emailed off white just now too to complain.

Whenever I am in the downstairs women's shoe department near to their Louis Vuitton and Chanel sections I think about how con man Ron Levin (of Billionaire Boy's Club fame) once parked his car in the handicap parking right by the entrance, asked a sales lady to load ten or fifteen thousand dollars worth of Louis Vuitton luggage into the trunk of his Rolls Royce to make sure it would fit, and then roared off without paying. Ah, the annals of L.A. History.Saks is quite old school and doesn't offer quite the selection of the old Barney's of New York that was once next door (a shadow of the old Barney's still exists on one of the Saks floors upstairs), but for many of L.A.'s upscale buyers, Saks is still the place to go for fine clothing, shoes, accessories. There are so many floors going upstairs with the store getting narrower and having different loft style sections that it is hard to keep track of what is where, but after coming here enough times you will be able to find everything. There are sales racks here and there, but for the most part be prepared to pay top dollar. Sales staff is always helpful, although at times they might be busy and you'll have to wait for help. There are only three Saks left in southern California, and this is their largest store, which, I understand, will soon be moving into the old Barney's location. This store is for women only, and across the street is the store for men.

Worst customer service of all the department stores by far. Don't waste your time going to the store for returns or exchanges. If they can't figure it out in a minute they tell you to call customer service instead of seeing if someone can help you in the store while you are AT THE STORE. This has happened to me the last two times I've gone to the store and a number of times before. Awful.
