I came in looking for a bong and left with the piece of my dreams!I don't often go to Berkeley to buy glass but when i do, I ALWAYS END UP BUYING IT HERE. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. They are conversational without being pushy. Therey are 100% there to help you.The prices have always been reasonable. Not the cheapest in the bay but absolutely the best selection in berkeley. Furthermore i have NEVER walked out of Whelans feeling cheated or like i payed too much.Lastly, as we all know...it's not always a pleasant experience going into a glass shop in berkeley when you're a person of color. Often times, employees will follow you around and hover over you making their suspicion or outright disrespect clear. Not so at Whelans. Nobody is treated differently because of the color of their skin. I know because they were perfectly respectful and kind to my husband.At least stop by, i guarantee they will have something for you.

Compared to the few vape smoke shops I have visited, this place definitely is considered on the pricier end. However, I just came here to purchase an atomizer and the front desk people were definitely very helpful. They know a lot and are enthusiastic to help. The atomizers were around 8 dollars ea, but they dont seem to stock them regularly as individual units.

Awesome place. Super friendly & knowledgeable staff. They have always been happy to answer all of my questions and never tried to upsell me or pressure me into purchasing anything. The scale I bought from them a year ago is still working perfectly, it registered a test weight exactly on the dot. For anything they might sell, they are my first choice for places to stop by!

I'm pretty sure they are paying for reviews. Never have I seen a more overpriced shop in my life. They were open earlier than my usual spot so I thought I'd check it out. For two packs of ZYN's it was $24!!! That's insane. I waited a little and went down TWO BLOCKS and bought them for half the price. He lied to me and told me all the other shops raised their prices. I hope the karma hits hard buddy.

Excellent place to get E juice, Especially if you're looking for Non-Nicotine. The younger associate was Very Disrespectful and Rude on my first visit there. This morning, minutes after opening was Much better with the Older associate helping me. He was patient and Very polite. He also was knowledgeable about what I hadn't a clue about. Thanks for helping quit smoking cigarettes...

They have a great selection of various smoking paraphernalia but I would suggest shopping elsewhere. Prices are outrageously high. I bought a patch and was charged $12.50. Found the same patch for $5.99 at a nearby store. Suggest you shop around.

Worst place to buy vapes. I drive all the way from SF area to buy vapes from this shop and every time i come, i buy up to 12 vapes due to me saving on gas but every disposable vape i buy, they last f****** TWO DAYS for $25 EACH!! that's absolutely disgusting. In my home town, i can buy 15 vapes for $20 or less for a discount. Waste of money and trip to drive.
