Ellie's shop can alter all kinds of pieces and alter them very very well. I've brought in formal wear, vintage clothing, leather jackets, bridal wear, sweaters, etc. Ellie's tailoring is professional and high quality.

I got my uniform tailored to my exact size for $33! I dropped it off and received it back 3 days later. She is very fast and efficient at tailoring and will work with you if you need it done by a certain date. She's very busy with lots of customers, so keep that in mind when booking with her!

I've been coming here for years. Ellie is a very talented tailor and has consistently been an invaluable resource that I draw on to do alterations, fix outfits and deal with any fashion issues I have. Personality fit is important so I think people should see how they like working with her but I'm extremely pleased.

I think a lot about this very first experience of purchase and get my suit repaired. And I don't know how to appreciate the owner, this marvelous businesswoman, has made my day so amazing. Her tailoring skills are impeccable, highly efficient, and the results are very surprising. But in addition, I would like to thank her for chatting with me, which gave me a deeper understanding of the world and communication between people. She is so nice and patient. It is indeed wonderful. If you have any clothes that need to be repaired, or if you need to customize a perfect dress or tuxedo, this is where you should come. Strongly recommended!

I have taken numerous pants here to be hemmed and they’ve been done beautifully!! Ellie can keep the original stitching if you ask her to. She is a lovely person who truly cares about her customers, and humanity in general. She was telling me how she wants to keep her costs down so Cal students can afford her services. Therefore she doesn’t have a credit card machine/ApplePay and only accepts cash and checks.She can custom make outfits, as well as alter clothing. Show your support for our community and come here for your alterations! Ellie is the best!!

Ellie is a very talented woman who together with her good colleagues truly knows the fine art of tailoring. As with all things in life communication is key to success and if in doubt just talk with Ellie and find a solution together. Whenever I am in town I make it a habit to visit Ellie so she can either alter my clothes or create a new piece. Lately I managed to destroy my favorite skirt and Ellies next project will be to recreate the skirt from scratch. And she can do it to perfection.

Elham is a talented and skillful seamstress. I dropped off a multilayered chiffon bridesmaid dress and she quoted me a fair price and a reasonably fast turnaround time, especially considering spring is a busy time for weddings, graduations, etc. The stitching on my dress looks even better than the original. I'm so glad I chose this place.
