Uchi is a wonderful place run by a local owner. I found a beautiful teak shelf of high quality. Tom was very kind and helpful and offered us outstanding customer service.

My husband and I just received a special order teak round coffee table. It is gorgeous and well made. Not only is the quality exceptional but the service has been unsurpassed. Tom, the manager, was concerned that the tapered legs might be damaged if transported in my husband's SUV as we had planned. After trying to place it in a larger SUV of theirs without success, Yo, the owner, graciously hired some trusted people to transport it safely for us in a large vehicle and to place it on our patio where it will live. I cannot tell you how happy we are with the piece and with the care and generosity of the service.

What a great Berkeley location! I stopped by on a whim and am so glad I did. Beautiful, simply made furniture for both indoors and out and a wide selection of home goods, gifts, and little art objects. I will definitely put it on my list for any upcoming furniture purchases, and will be back often for gifts and treasures.

What a beautifully curated store. Focused mainly on outdoor decor, but lots of beautiful indoor design pieces as well. If you are looking for a special (or small) gift for your fancy and organically minded friend, go here. It would be a great place to pick up a lovely hostess gift, loads of pretty hand towels, coasters, candles, etc.

I purchased a eye bench and side table from Yo last year. I sealed and placed them outside my front door and they still look brand new! Awesome quality teak furniture, all solid wood with mortise and tendon jointery. Doesn't get any better than that and the prices are very fair! I'll be back for more pieces eventually.

I've driven by this spot so many times and I regret not going sooner! Their selection of wood furniture is impressive (unfortunately I'm in a small apartment) but their home goods/decorations really blew me away. If you are able, take time to look at all the small things they carry around the store. I found some of my all time favorite coasters here and am still thinking about some of the textiles they had.

Great supply of indoor and outdoor teak furniture. Came in the morning, found a great TV stand with a simple, sleek design, went home and measured to see if it'd be a good fit. We called the owner, Yo, to set it aside to pick it up the same day. After purchasing (missed the Black Friday 15% off sale but she let me apply the 10% discount for signing up on the mailing list), Yo helped me load the stand into the car. Great customer service experience and I'd visit again.
