Cheapest car wash costs $12 and it’s another $3 to get 7 1/2 minutes of vacuum time. If you don’t buy the vacuum at the same time you buy the wash, it’s $4. I went mid day on a Tuesday and there was no line.

Better than Amy other car wash I've been to in the area. Lots of space and clean. Uncomplicated. The wash goes through several cycles, and my car emerged nice and clean. Friendly staff, too.

Friendly staff. Nice place. (side note: not that you should expect this kind of service, but my car battery died at one of the vacuum stalls and the employees there helped me jump it, so that was nice).

Finally!!! A drive-thru car wash in Oakland! The lack of them here is wild. Anyway, super easy self-pay and strong vacuum that gives you plenty of time. It’s never crowded when I go around 1-2pm. Minus one star because I always have leftover soap around my side mirrors and in my trunk seal. Bring towels to finish wiping your car down.

I am not a person that usually gives reviews, but I felt like I had to after my experience. The car wash was fine , but the staff was incredibly rude . I will not be going back or giving my business to this place again .

Fair price, quick service/rarely a wait, staff all seem to care (nice, for a change). Hate to give them 5 stars as they'll likely get busier and ruin my favorite car wash!

Wish I could give a 6 star rating because I just had the best experience. While vacuuming I managed to lock my keys in my car like an idiot and two employees (Anthony and AJ) were super helpful. They let me use a cell phone to call AAA and in the meantime did their best to jimmy my door open old school with a wire hanger. Truly above and beyond service. Really kind, considerate people here. Thank you!!

I was excited to see a new car wash in the area! While I’ve been a big fan of Solar’s DIY wash stations (so fun), it’s great to have a drive through alternative to the spot up the street that’s always packed. I got the $18 wash, which was very thorough – it was certainly longer (length of actual washing route) and with more cleaning elements than most other drive throughs. Can’t wait to go back! (Anyone else get excited about stuff like this? Lol)

Positives: Friendly and helpful staff! And there's someone hand drying the car after the wash (albeit the "drying" was very casual)
Negatives: Very harsh car wash. My front plate frame got torn apart and the frame bracket was pulled out from the bumper. First time experiencing such damage from an automated car wash. And despite the harshness, it couldn't clean bug residue and stains on the front bumper; staff offered a second wash but still needed some elbow grease to get those off (shout out to the staff, otherwise 0 stars)

I just tried out this relatively new Solar Car Wash location today after attempting to go to the location on University Ave, but the line was backed up for whatever reason (I think the automatic car wash was broken?).
I chose the Basic Wash for $12. You can add a self-vacuum service for $3 but I didn’t need it. But the area for this seems very neat and spacious!
I was super impressed with the employee who seemed to be on deck and available to answer any questions. She was very helpful, especially since it was my first time. Then, another employee helped me get onto the conveyor belt properly and clearly told me to put the car in neutral. I was then carried through the car wash with ease and I found it to be very thorough cleaning process! The University Ave location doesn’t have a drying function so I was pleased to see that this one did. And to top it all off, an employee was at the end of the car wash with towels and he proceeded to wipe down my car! I did not expect this extra step at all, but highly appreciate it because usually that’s something I’d do on my own once I get home.
I’ll definitely be back again for my next car wash and highly recommend this to anyone! Great value for the service, organization, and excellent results!

My wife brought her new car through this car wash and now has multiple light and slightly deeper scratches to the hood, sides, and back. When she brought this to their attention via email, they stated that when people get their cars washed, that scratches are "often discovered" (as in it wasn't their car wash that did it). Her car was new and had not been washed yet. All the scratched are in a "swirl" pattern, just like how the brushes go in the car wash. As she was in the car, she said that the brushes were so aggressive that they were shaking the car a lot. Got a refund for the package she bought, but let this be a warning to anyone who wants to use this establishment.
