I found this filthy place after looking around for a few weeks for someone to simply place a picture and one line of print on a couple of shirts.After getting jerked around at another place on UniversityAvenue, I went here. The guy didn't look busy. I told him about the bad experience I had had at another dodgy place. In the conversation, he said that it was probably an iron-on that the other business was doing and that he had better quality non-iron shirts, and that he could have them done the next day.Before getting into that task, I asked him if he could do a hundred color copies. He first gave me a price per copy and then I told him the cheaper price at Krishna, across the street. He then said he would do it for a penny less than them. I asked him to cut them on his machine and he generously did that at no charge. When I was checking the number of actual copies he gave me, I said in passing that it's always good to keep your reputation. With that, he went back to the copier and did the rest of the copies, although, when he cut the others, they were skewed.Finally, not following my gut, I ordered a sweatshirt and T-shirt to be done with his highly recommended direct-to-garment method. He made me pay upfront, which I did.I shouldn't have given my day for leaving town, because he didn't do it for the next day, as he originally promised. Instead, he took his time so I would have no recourse if I didn't like the job. On the Thursday before the Monday of my departure, he finally calls me to pick the shirts up.When I got there, and looked at them, I said that it's iron-on. He equivocated and said, "Yes, no." The answer was naturally yes because, instead of calling me and telling me it would cost a bit more to have the direct-to-garment method, he went ahead and short-changed me on the job, the same way he had tried to do with the photocopies.He was bold enough to ask me if I was happy with the job, knowing full well that no time was left for me to wait for a do-over.To add insult to injury, he made it clear that he wanted me out of the shop immediately when I engaged in a bit of small talk before leaving.Testing if he would react differently, I said that I might come back to get more shirts done with him. Of course, as when a putative sucker speaks up, he was all ears.Sickeningly, he put his hand over his heart in faux gratitude as I was going out the door.

Attention to detail is wonderful. My music transcriptions come out clean and crisp and appreciated by the musicians I've work with for years. I no longer use any other shop.....only if I'm outta town

I got my banners made here for a boutique store front and it was perfect! Excellent designers to help you and find what you want! Also, the timing was great. I was able to get me printing done in no time! Everyone was very friendly and the service, products, and designs were killer. Recommend for everyone!

I'm a wedding planner and my clients are very A type and detail oriented so it's critical for me to have a printer that is reliable, patient and affordable. I have been fortunate enough to have found Instant Copying & Laser Printing to be a godsend! The best part about them is the access and responsiveness of the owner Sanjeev. He takes such a personal approach that is invaluable when you are printing menus, place cards and wedding invitations. My most recent project with him was an Indian wedding for 350 guests and while it could have easily been very expensive and stressful I was put at ease every time he picked up the phone to call me. The wedding was amazing .... I highly recommend them and will be back soon....If you are looking a printer this is it!

This is a great place to pop in and get a few copies made, either from hard copy or via email. The owners are extremely courteous and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. They also do large print jobs, t-shirts, etc. Highly recommended!

Sanjeev did a terrific job with my little postcard project, and he's also just the nicest man in Berkeley laser printing! The cards look great, and it was sweet to do business with him, which I can't say about prior copying experiences!

Sanjeev provides excellent service. He applied his acute understanding of what I was looking for in my document duplication job and made sure I got a great outcome (high quality copies and careful care for the originals). He really went the extra mile for me even when the job proved more complicated (because of the condition of the originals) than expected. I highly recommend this place!

I love the convenience of this place just a block from campus. I've been coming here for over eight years and the owner and staff are so personable and friendly. Every customer matters. I have done lots of copying and had business cards printed -- very quickly! Even with COVID...everything very safe. Cost effective, fast service, big and small jobs. Super high recommendation for a small business with a can-do attitude.

For over 10 years I have been a loyal patron for Instant Copying & Laser Printing because they produce excellent quality printing. I am a theatre teacher and I met Sanjeev back in 2009, while living in Temescal. He created my first poster to promote and market my first high school musical. It was stellar and received many compliments from families and colleagues. After moving to San Francisco, I could not help but to come back to Berkeley for all of my printing needs, including posters, t-shirts, and postcards. It's hard to believe it has been 10 years, but I love going back because I am never disappointed with the service. Not only is Sanjeev professional, creative, and accommodating, but he truly cares about his clients and makes extra effort to assure his customers are satisfied.
