“I love Orangetheory Fitness so much that I was beyond sad I couldn't go especially after moving up from SoCal to NoCal during the pandemic. Imagine my thrill to find out that my new house was just a few blocks away from the Shattuck Orangetheory Fitness. The staff are awesome, especially the manager, Van, who goes above and beyond for the members and crew. I love the coaches, especially Noah, as well as the front desk crew. Everyone takes time to learn our names and say hello and goodbye as we come and go. The location is great and the workouts are always amazing in true OTF fashion. So glad to be a regular here and thankful I found my OTF family.”

“Everything I said in my previous review still stands, I just want to highlight how awesome the trainers have been during the last year plus as we've all had to negotiate the COVID pandemic. They've adapted to teaching a mix of in-person and online classes and they've done an excellent job of making things challenging while keeping workouts accessible and adaptable as needed for everyone's personal situation. All of the trainers here are excellent, but most of the classes I take are with Deanna. Training with her is an incredibly positive experience--she is completely committed to helping her clients succeed, and not just in the gym. And on those days when my tank is empty or I'm not with it for whatever reason she's completely understanding and is able to adjust things to meet me where I'm at so I still get a good workout in. A lot of it may be behind the scenes, but she works just as hard as her clients at helping them achieves their goals. Phoenix Gym is an incredibly positive, supportive, and judgement-free zone, and being a member here has been a life-changing experience.”

“HH fitness is great! Xabi is a wonderful instructor who pushes you to get a great workout in every time. He's super energetic and supportive and as a result, the gym has a real community feel. Xabi offers a variety of classes (spin, weights, Bosu ball, etc.) and the exercises he leads you through change constantly such that it's never boring or predictable, which I really appreciate. I moved out of California and still make time to see Xabi and attend class whenever I'm back in town!”

“I have been going to OKC (Orange Kettlebell Club) and training with Denis Vasilev for the last 2 years. I have had a few different personal trainers in the bay over the years, and my experience working with Denis is second to none. He is super friendly and incredible knowledgeable about kettlebells and overall training. I appreciate his ability to customize workouts around my fitness goals. He has helped me stay motivated, build endurance, and get a lot stronger. Highly recommend checking OKC out!”

“I like this gym but it's really small. If you go in peak hours be prepared to wait or work in with others on weights. It can get pretty crowded. Usually plenty of treadmills, though.”

“Great neighborhood gym with a friendly and helpful staff. Most people come to maintain their fitness and not show off. A variety of clientele of different ages makes it a respectful and cordial experience. The equipment is up-to-date and well-maintained. I have not tried the classes. A jewel. Parking can be challenging.”
