The female cashiers have a nasty attitude. Not everyone who walks into shell is from Bakersfield and know that you can actually go into the walk in refrigerator and don't need to be an employee. Common sense is what is lacking from these women. They both see you with a mad face (dog you). Like lady if customer service isn't your specialty then look for another job.

My husband comes regularly to fill propane and it’s about 45 gallons that he gets every other day in week day and every day on weekends, one of the employees by the name of “Christy” she didn’t want to fill propane but there other employees that are not in her schedule time so fill it up. I asked her for supervisor name and she said I’d have to ask him what kind of store is this??? The supervisor was at the store and trying having a word with him and he practically asked me to wait till he finished putting stuff away and ignored me, what kind of supervisor does that? Mean while his employee “Christy” was doing nothing just standing. Not care about customer service. If you are trying to come don’t you’ll save your self a bad customer service. If anyone knows the info of the owner please let them know so they can be aware of why business can be this horrible.

I went to this place to ask for a refill propane tank, and the lady and the guy inside started taking, questioning each other if the machine works or not, and finally they told me the machine doesn't work because needs maintenance the next day. All of this was around 8pm on a Saturday. The funny part was that was the second time they told me the same history.If is that hard for them to do it, they shouldn't have the propane machine in the gas station. They obviously don't want to do their job.

Absolutely filthy bathroom. Toilet bowl was rimmed with black scum and the floor was so sticky with urine, my shoes stuck to the floor as I walked. I went outside and cleaned my shoes with the windshield water. From now on, I will be googling "rest stops" in Google maps. One disgusting bathroom too many. Shell, where is your corporate pride?

The coffee, it alone gets you the rating. I get a cup every morning. Why? Because I can add real creamer into my cup. I pick your coffee every morning over Starbucks.. and they are closer.

The cashier is very friendly
And I like it since they have Flex E-85 gas here, since the gas went up a lot, it seems good to come and put it in my car that uses this type of gasoline.

they continue to have their bathrooms closed, under California law, paying customers are to have a clean restroom to use when selling gasoline. California requires service stations that started operating on or after January 1, 1990 and are located within 660 feet of major highways to have clean and sanitary public restrooms. An intentional violation—one lasting for five consecutive days—is an infraction, punishable by a fine of up to $50 per day.
It's been over a month of them being closed because not wanting to clean them, if broke you have days to fix. Big trouble for them.

I received the worst service of my life by this lady at Shell gas station on white lane. I asked her for her name to speak with the manager and she refused to provide me with her name so a photo will have to do. If you don't have good customer service skills do work in the public view. If you see this lady work just turn around it's not worth your day.
