“As someone who worked in pharmacy for nearly a decade, it's safe to say I understand the inner workings of how a pharmacy operates. You can't blame the pharmacy staff for technological errors, insurance issues or inconsistencies, legal requirements, manufacturing or supply chain issues, staffing (hours are allotted by corporate, and are minimal at best), etc. They have control over their customer service. My experiences with this location have been helpful, friendly, and efficient. They worked hard to ensure I get the best value for my money, advising me on different prices for different options of my prescribed medications. While they may not be the quickest and there may be a little wait when you call in or go in, I understand I'm not the only customer they're assisting. All in all, I have no complaints about this location nor the staff. Just be kind and patient and you'll get the same in return.”

“I recently had several prescriptions filled at this particular CVS, pharmacy, at wolf and Combie Rd., Grass Valley CA. There is such an immense improvement in the service at the pharmacy now as compared to several months ago. I stopped going there, because of quite frankly the horrible service that I was receiving and did not plan to go back except I had an emergency and it was the best choice as far as location. I’m so glad I did. The pharmacist was friendly and informative. All the staff was incredibly friendly. Since then I can call the pharmacy and actually speak to somebody and not be put on terminal hold. They have made incredible improvements and I highly recommend them. If you stopped going there because of the terrible service from the past give them another try.”
“The photo shop is superior! So nice to have a place to go to pick up prints! I like to shop the seasonal stuff. They have good sales and carry nostalgic items like the Lifesavers Christmas story book candy! A must have for stocking stuffers! I got my Nightmare Before Christmas tree here too! ?The pharmacy doesn't do walk-in covid booster. You have to go online or call the 800 number.”

The store is well organized and clean, and has friendly and helpful associates, in which I was assisted with instructions on printing my photos which was easier and faster than I had imagined. “I have been utilizing Gold Country Compounding for a couple of years now and have enjoyed consistently excellent service. They are pleasant, proactive, and prompt. They will often call me before my prescription is up and ask if I’d like it refilled or give me a heads up that I’ve run out of refills. They’ve filled my prescription on short notice even, when I had a trip that was taking me out of town. I recently received new HSA cards (which meant new card numbers) and they were so kind, patient and flexible when the card was not going through and I had to wait for my husband to call me with our new card numbers.
