I went in look for a gift for a friend in Austria. It has to be a red wine of good vintage and good value from Napa Valley. Fei was most helpful and she found me the perfect gift. They carry lots of good wine and whisky here. You can find many good vintage Lafite Rothschild or DRC. Good whisky like Hibiki, Macallan and other rare to find liquors!

I am a whiskey drinker, but wanted to try and learn about Chinese baijiu. I had a couple of choices picked out from internet researching, and I explained I was a newbie when it came to Chinese liquors. She recommended a Luzhou Laojiao 375 ml to try, rather than the more expensive ones I had in mind. I really appreciated her recommendation, because it told me she was more interested in helping me learn than just selling an expensive bottle. At home, I tried it and was a little surprised by how it hit the palette. The nose and first taste was an acquired taste, but once you get past that, it was a flavorful mouthful, and it does hit you harder because of the higher alcohol content. This will take a little getting used to, but I feel in good hands as I continue to explore Chinese liquors!
