I had a great experience with Indotech Auto Repair.
My Miata is 30 years old and I had trouble finding a reliable mechanic who knows how to fix it.
Alex, the owner, is very knowledgeable and passionate about Miatas. He diagnosed and repaired my car quickly and professionally. He also gave me some useful tips on how to maintain my car.
I am very happy with his service and I highly recommend him to anyone who owns a Miata.

Can’t say enough good things about Indotech! Alex is the man there! He killed it on tracking down many of my problems I was having with my Miata. Can not say enough good things about indotech! Alex is the man there! He is very thorough and straight forward with his customers. If your Miata is having problems he will get it fixed and more. He is definitely the guy to get it done right the first time! I will definitely be going to him with any troubles with any of my miatas in the future. Thank you Alex !

Such an awesome shop! Owner Alex works on everything you need for your car meticulously, with great communications along the process. I brought in my 2015 Miata for a track day prep on a short notice; he finishes the work within two days, and mind you: there was a lot of extra work needed to be done just to get my suspension tuned right since I recently installed new coilovers, and he didn't even charge me for those extra hours spent on fine adjusting the height and alignment specs. Sends me a bunch of pictures and videos over the two days to keep me updated. Even got me a free car wash done by the time I picked up! I recommend him for absolutely everything you'd need on your Miata or other Mazda/JDM cars in general. He also owns a fleet of fully-prepped race cars available for rent and they regularly dominate local track racing events, so there's proof that he knows his stuff. Thank you Alex!

I want to say thank you to Johnny " Junior" because he makes an amazing job with the cars, he's an excellent mechanical and the clients and his boss never recognize his work when he is the only one who does all the job in IMS. He is the only worker and he makes the 3 workers job. But when you read the commemts nobody mentioned him. Sometimes the clients recieved their car and don't think who made it, they just think it was Alex, but almost all the time is Jonny's work. This shop is good or has quality for Junior. I want 5 stars for johnny but for this thing I give 2 stars.

I had a great experience here. My Miata had a few minor issues and I wanted an expert to look at it, so I took it here. The owner was very accommodating, prompt, and helpful. He sent regular updates and pictures while working and was very easy to get a hold of. He even cleaned out the engine bay and took my Miata to a car wash while he waited for me to pick it up late. Overall I would highly recommend if you have a Miata that needs work. He also has a nice supply of aftermarket parts if you're looking for something.

If you are a Miata enthusiast in the So Cal area this is one of the best shops to have your Miata worked on. Alex, the owner of the shop is very humble and knowledgeable when it comes to these little cars. Based on my set up he helped me dial in the suspension and alignment on my beloved NA6 . Although he seems to do work on other vehicles, his parking lot looks like that of a KINOD meet. With many different Miatas all over. a delightful sight for fan of these roadsters.I spent over an hour and a half driving to this shop. After taking my car on a spirited drive by my local canyon, I was astonished on the difference in the suspension and handling.Indotech was definitely worth the drive!

I brought my miata here that was sitting for 3 years at my house and broke down since 2 more years before I bought it off someone i was looking for the right person and place to fix the car i must have gone to 9 or 10 places and called more then that i came across Indotech randomly and saw there photos and reviews including there Instagram so i called and picked a day to come in and speak with ALEX was very kind and funny told me he would call me to bring my car in soon with in a few days he was ready after dropping off the car Alex told me he would give me some options after inspecting the issues to help work with what would be affordable in my price range very much appreciated that after coming down to 3 options to fix my car i ended up getting a brand new motor built by him with Zero miles so i can enjoy peace of mind with all new engine parts to also replace the old Alex made sure to involve me in all the changes and things the car needed i dont regreat paying for his skills car drives better then some new cars i drove when i was a car sales man i must say i been impressed with driving it over the recent week after it being done I highly recommend giving Alex a call if your interested in fixing anything on your miata if you have one I can't wait to see him again for more stuff very kind and humble man knows a lot not just for Mazda miatas either Im glad i decided to get my car fixed here and the way he dose things also was done fast

I took my 02 Miata here for an engine swap, new clutch, new rotors, brake pads, shift knob, and caliper. Alex and his team were very transparent with me. I was given photo/video updates on what the goal for the day for the car was. Alex is very thorough in his explanations. Do not be afraid to ask questions, he will gladly answer them for you. The whole project took about 2 weeks or so. When I got my car back, I was completely blown away by how different my car felt. With the new 1.8 VVT JDM, the car felt different, the clutch threw me off the most because my old clutch was super stiff. The brakes are as good as new and I could not be anymore happier. I will definitely come back for more upgrades. Thank you.

Alex at Indotech knows Miatas. I recently purchased a Miata that was too heavily modified to take to a normal mechanic, fortunately he is not a normal mechanic. The car needed a bunch of maintenance work and some gremlins fixed.I used to think the car handled well. I was wrong. After he did the allignment it was more responsive AND more stable. Legitimately feels like a different car. He also installed an adjustable effort electric power steering system on the car that he developed in house. Super cool racecar stuff. Also he's a cool guy who likes cars. That matters.

i had to get a few things done to my 96 miata and Alex worked on them efficiently and had amazing communication with me and made sure i knew what he was fixing and what the costs would be.
