I need two 2x10x16 kiln dried pieces to complete a project. Meeks was the only place in which I could get them and it was a special order. Once I placed the order with the salesperson on the phone I was given a delivery day and time. That day came and went. No delivery. I called Meeks and they informed me the lumber hadn't arrived yet and delivery would be the following day. It would be wise and good customer service to inform customers that a scheduled delivery has changed so the customer doesn't waste a day waiting for a delivery. In the end I did get the lumber and the delivery guys were extremely courteous.

I needed insulation removed and sprayed back in due to wild fire damage. Awesome customer service, friendly and helpful every time I called with any questions. Their prices were good and they stayed true to their estimate. They were on time and did the work quickly and cleaned up when they left. They also sent me pictures and let me know I had some roof damage from birds and squirrels and I was able to get that repaired quickly before they sprayed in the new insulation.

I got a quote on trusses for 3k and now suddenly jumped to 6k... I know lumber prices went up but that's called a rip off, ure taking advantage of people in these kind of situations....what a shame

Cabinet Dept. Would not return calls, emails. Even a visit with management didn't fix the problem. I would not recommend Meeks for cabinets. Twin view. You didn't really say how I could get a hold of you at which store.?

Yesterday I went to the Meeks store in Yreka. The person behind the counter was not wearing a mask. When I asked him about it he gave me a ration of shit about how he didn't and would not wear one. If you care about your health and do not want to get the Covid-19 virus I suggest you do not shop at Meeks. Go to Home Depot instead !!!! A Person from Meeks posted a reply calling me a lier. I wouldn't expect a Meeks worker to confess to doing something that could get him fired....

Only giving a one for this recent experience. Here we go. Called the Twin View store on Tuesday looking for 1/4" pegboard. Told that they had 10 sheets on order and they'd be in on Thursday. Didn't want to wait, so I called the Anderson store, said they had two sheets. I drove to the store, went to the front counter and paid. Went out to the yard, found the empty spot where it should have been. Looked around for other spots, no luck. Back to the front counter for a refund. Stopped by Twin View store today, Friday. Asked where the pegboard was at the guard shack. He said that the pegboard came it BUT if was ordered for someone. So, there was none in stock that I could have. Went inside to ask about it (and whine a little). Spoke to S., he said the a local business had ordered 21 sheets and he couldn't get it from either of his suppliers, and someone had mistakenly given 10 sheets to some already. His suppliers were back ordered for 2+ weeks. Apologized profusely for the mix up. Sent me off to Payless and Weaver Lumber. I normally get pretty good service in the lumber yard side, store side not so much. Almost like they are run as two separate business units. I never leave a negative review without providing some info on my opinion and suggestions for improvement. 1) both Anderson and Twin View's inventory didn't match quantity available for sale. I wasted two hours running around i the heat after I had called to confirm stock. 2) neither store asked if I'd like to place an order. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and courteous. Just didn't help me get what I needed. :(.

We needed to replace a couple of our deteriorating decks. We chose Meek's to assist us with the project. Sean their deck expert is fantastic! He directed us to the right decking material and supported us through the entire process. We would recommend that anyone needing assistance with decking to go to Meek's just to get Sean's expertise. He is so knowleageable, professional, and personable. We also enjoyed interacting with Dave (the window guy) and Daniel in the warehouse. Meek's has some great people working for them. Thank you!

This place is overpriced. I purchased two doors. One was never even ordered and then they sold the other one to someone else a week later. I also purchased some lumber and the guys "guarding" the gate was a complete a**hole to me when the guy helping me load the lumber was the one who grabbed the incorrect stuff. Don't waste your time here!

Verily, thou mayest journey to the land called Meek's if thou seeks lumber, but woe unto them who journey there seeking hardware, for they forsake the teachings of The Father. And The Father shall punish them with empty satchels, and they shall gnash their teeth with frustration. And their journeys shall be made longer and full of suffering and want before they obtain fuses and GFCI outlets and weatherproof outdoor boxes that fit together, in some distant land.
