Anderson Handy Sotage get 5 stars from me! I went in today and the lady behind the counter was so helpful! She answered all my questions thoroughly and the prices are great!!!! The grounds are clean and well taken care of. I feel at ease knowing my things will be safe at the establishment. I’m more a mom and pop kind of girl. So supporting small local business is right up my Alley!

I personally have not rented a storage unit here, however I did go to pick up a microwave I purchased from a private party. This was where the microwave was located. I had not entered the office yet, but was spoken AT by the office manager. I'm sure she is a nice lady outside of work. But professionally? The treatment I received was less than exemplary. She was short, rude, telling me essentially what I was there for, she would not have time to assist for me with for awhile, then punctuated it with another, A WHILE. Suddenly, a recently graduated student from Red Bluff, appeared and offered to help! I thought we were going to take a long walk to one of the units far away from the office. When suddenly the manager came out, and there, in the unit right next to the office, #1 was there she opened the unlocked door, showed the girl where it was, right inside the door, and she hurried to attend to much more important things than myself. People? Customer or non customer service is so vitally important! That small, short interaction with an employee of a little storage facility, is all it took to make me take note, that if I ever needed storage I wouldn't be seeking it there. Customer service, people service, what a concept.

WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! Yesterday the manager had me sign paperwork on a unit that had stuff in it then said I could come pay today when the unit was actually ready. Then calls me today trying to sell the unit to someone else so I said I was bringing the money. I show up and wait for 20 mins for someone to be in the office. She proceeds to talk down to me and talk to me like I’m stupid. I pay her out the lock on the unit and she sent my info to the insurance company and I leave. The not even 5 mins later she calls me to tell me to come get my lock off the unit and that she cancelling the arrangement because I wasn’t “nice” enough to her. When I brought up how long I waited and that I’m moving so I didn’t have time to come til then and that waiting around was frustrating since I’m short on time, she said “it’s not my job to sit here and wait for you all day either”. Like no, you run a so called company and if this is how you continue to treat your customers then it’s obviously not going far. Now I’m stuck without a storage unit and I move on Monday. She also tried to brag about her spending 2.5 million dollars on her “business,” and yet they don’t even have a reliable fence and gate around their shitty complex. Take this as a warning to anyone wanting to rent from them, cause this shows a lot about her character and I wouldn’t trust anyone like this with my stuff or my personal information. She insisted on getting my card information to “keep on file” when they only except cash, check, and money orders, there is literally no reason for them to even need it.

No room to turn your car around on the storage grounds. Second gate isn't open to drive thru once done in your storage and you are better off parking on the street if you have a medium to large size vehicle.
