Beautiful hotel with such thoughtful touches from the designers. Loved the grounds and how spacious everything was. Ended up in a room that was bigger than usual, and we were so comfortable. The winter months meant no swimming so we were unable to check that out but thats okay. Its not super close to the park as you have to walk the entire distance of downtown disney in order to get to the gates, be prepared for that.

Our interaction with the staff was limited but they were ok. They seemed to assume people knew where to go rather than assume it was their first time at the hotel. The room was great. Clean and nicely decorated. Paying for a view of Main St. was not worth it.Walkability: You have to walk the entire length of Main St. to get to the California side of the park.

Staff likes to ease drop. Also a lack of knowledge of where the trade show was located. Disneyland has hidden hd cameras in all their bathroom stalls.

Every worker has been nice and helpful. Some theme park employees look like they don't want to be there but at the hotel they seem happier. Every thing is clean and can't complain about anything Disneyland hotels are bigger than Pixar rooms.Rooms: Clean up to date and nicely decoratedNearby activities: Entrance to downtown Disney just out front doorsWalkability: Short walk past shops and restaurants to get to Disneyland and Adventure entrances

Spectacular, every time we go to Disneyland we stay here, it is expensive but very worth it. I feel that the front desk service could be a little better but it is not bad either, it really does the job very well, extremely comfortable, clean, well-maintained rooms. First class facilities. If one day you have the opportunity to stay here, do NOT hesitate.

It's is close to Disneyland downtown but still quite walk to the entrance of the parks. The good thing is that we can just get on the rail and it takes us straight into DisneyLand Park Tomorrow Land. The service is exceptional as always with Disney. The room is nice and spacious. We didn't even ask for highest floor possible and we got the 12th floor. So we are grateful to have stay at the Villas. Love the amenities clusing the pool and jacuzzi. Wish that the pool would stay open later to like 9 or 10pm like WDW hotels pool. We could use a dip after a long day walking around the parks.Nearby activities: We tried Sam's Tiki Bar, large pool with Jacuzzi, Disney Downtown for food and shopping.

You are practically inside the park now, there is access right there and the monorail takes you inside the park for free, you have the themed restaurants although I was somewhat disappointed with Goffy's, it is not as varied and the cost seems high, and it does not guarantee you seeing to

First of all, let me provide full disclosure. I am one of "those" Disney adults. I love it all and it's really hard to p*ss me off when it comes to their hospitality. This was the 4th time I've stayed at a Disney owned Disneyland property. I've stayed at all of the different DL hotels here in Anaheim and the original Disneyland Hotel is by far my favorite. The cast members were so wonderful. We all felt so well taken care of. The room was immaculately clean every day. The pool and staff there were incredible. Don't get me started on the gym! The best equipped gym at any hotel I've stayed in. Even the folks at the Valet were incredibly friendly and professional. I will stay here again and again.Do yourself a favor, at least once in your life, pay the extra to stay fully in the Disney bubble by choosing the Disneyland Hotel...and book through Costco. They'll give you the best deal in my opinion.

We stayed in the Discovery Tower of the Disneyland Hotel, and we enjoyed the amenities offered in-room. The villa rooms have a microwave, fridge, toaster, dishes and utensils. We also really liked the robes provided by the hotel. The staff members were all very friendly! We really enjoyed and used the early entry benefit provided to guests staying "on property".Rooms: The room was clean, and the amenities provided in a villa room is nice!Nearby activities: Three on-property pools, fire pit area, restaurants, Downtown Disney restaurants and shops, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure parks.Walkability: The walk to Downtown Disney is less than 5 minutes. If walking to the main entrances to either Disneyland park is approximately 10 minutes, however those wanting to go to Disneyland may use the monorail.Food & drinks: Goofy's Kitchen buffet with character visits, Trader Sam's tiki bar, Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar and Grill, Coffee Bar, Palm Breeze Bar are all located onsite.
