It is a pretty good spot to just drop of your packages and letters. One thing that is bad is that mostly when I go there is that there is no one working.

This is a hidden gem, which includes a parking lot. Wish I knew that before I found street parking, but they only had a tiny parking lot for 2 automobiles. Still good to know for the future reference. I came right before lunch and got lucky that only 1 customer was in line. The employee was nice enough to guide me on which form to fill out, because I was sending stuff to Switzerland. She helped me pick the best price for me, and process was quick.

Yes! This is a small sub station post office with limited hours and is closed for lunch. It is ideal for essential postal transactions. There is usually only 1 employee working when I have gone & this would probably warrant having to close for lunch. I don't believe it is meant as a full service post office nor do I think there is sufficient staff to stay open all day or to answer phone calls during these times. The employee who is there has always been courteous, helpful & professional. I prefer to handle all my postal transactions through this office, during their limited hours, versus waiting in line for hours at the busier main post offices. If you know what to expect & its limitations, than its a great option for postal needs.

Not sure if this dude works here. But this mailman... Was so upset by the Halloween spiderwebs in his way they decided to rip down our Halloween decorations. Does this guy work here? At this location? This is ridiculous... This is a vindictive person. You could've just asked me there in your way.

TERRIBLE!Walked in before 1 pm today. Within seconds get screamed at by the women working saying "ARE YOU READY I AM CLOSING" as she locks the doors from the inside leaving the keys attached to the door.HORRIBLE service. EXTREMELY RUDE! treated me like s*** the whole time, while still yelling and being upset or frustrated with her job. Your hours are listed open until 5 pm? And you are closing before 1pm?She rushes through, and is rude the entire check out process. Then YELLS from being the counter saying "you can wait until I'm done with the other customer and I'll come open the door" So I'm standing there... waiting.. as I'm LOCKED IN the building and have to go. Finally I turned the key and aid I don't have time to wait here, you can't lock customers inside?! And she screamed from behind the counter.WEIRDEST WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.Go elsewhere, what's the point.

I stopped in at this post office to mail a bill. I usually go to either the one on Webster Street (west end) or the main one at Southshore. This post office is somewhat a hidden gem, off the beaten paths of Park Street and Park Avenue. I lucked out as there was nobody in line to purchase stamps or send out boxes and packages. That was a good time to seize the opportunity to purchase my forever stamps. The two sheets I purchased were the Lunar New Year (Year of the Rat) and the Black Heritage (Gwen Ifill). They're sheets of stamps to add to my collection. I have to admit these forever stamps are getting costly ($11 for 20 stamps). Stamps were 41¢ each and a sheet cost $8.20 thirteen years ago. I don't know when I will stop collecting stamps, but it's a hobby. I like it when I don't have to wait long at the post office. I am in and out of there in less than five minutes, which is much better than waiting in line at the DMV.

They're always kind, helpful & patient at this smaller post office. It's important to note that usually just one person works at this site, so if you have a ton of items or are in a hurry, you might want to go to the South Shore Station. Additionally, they close for lunch from 1:00-2:30 pm.
