Hubby and I went to the downtown location and had such a great experience. The staff were so helpful, especially the lady that helped us (Stephanie)- she def deserves a promotion hehe. As first time parents, we’re kinda like deer in the headlights … she answered so many questions and was SO knowledgeable with every piece of equipment and baby item. This was the best customer service my husband and I have received in a very long time. We feel so much more confident and will definitely be coming back to TJs to speak to the pros! They know what they’re doing ? thank you so much.

Wow! The staff here are fantastic! Buying the right baby gear can be overwhelming. The staff here are suuuuuper knowledgeable and happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

Went in to look at strollers and Stephani was truly amazing. She patiently showed us a number of different types and models, and demonstrated how to collapse them, and add adapters.
She asked us very thoughtful questions about our lifestyle which helped us to determine the right one for us. She also shared a lot of helpful information about her experience with her own kids.
Highly recommend this location for picking the right stroller, and ask for Stephani if you can!

My friend recommended I go here to buy a stroller, she said they were great and helpful, and that they were able to take the strollers in the parking lot to test them out on the different surfaces. When we went, it was a vastly different experience. We were very disappointed in the customer service. Staff were unhelpful and more concerned about conversing amongst themselves at the front desk. I asked if I could take a stroller in the parking lot, to see how it handled on the concrete, and was told no that it is against their store policy. Very bizarre that my friend just a month prior was able to do this, but we were told no.

Really helpful staff. Needed assistance with our car seat and they called me to set up a time and solved any of the issues I had with the seat. Bought several items from here and the Langford store and they are always incredibly helpful and full of information!

This store is a must visit if you have kids or know someone with kids! The customer service is top notch, especially Stephani. They've heard it all and can meet all kinds of needs. Not sure how to get your toddler to eat, they can help! Need the right car seat for your small car, they can help! You won't regret stopping by!

TJ’s The Kiddies is such a cool store. They have everything you need for your babies and kids and even the stuff you didn’t know you needed. Stephanie helped me set up my baby registry and is seriously the expert on all things stroller.If you still aren’t ready to commit after talking to her you should ask about their totally affordable rental program.The store was very clean and organized when I went in too which was nice.

Very disappointed with the lack of customer service we received. Went to TJ's for the first time today, ready to buy a stroller, and waited over 30 minutes without any form of acknowledgement from the salesperson whatsoever. They were with another customer, but a simple "hello, I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way, and potentially not lost them a sale/future returning customer. Instead we were completely ignored the entire time. We will not be going back after that frustrating experience.

Absolutely fantastic service! We went in looking to do preliminary research on strollers and car seats as we are expecting our first.We had the pleasure of dealing with Stephanie who as beyond helpful. She asked great questions about our lifestyle to narrow us down to a few models of both stroller and car seat.She had so much patience with us as we asked a million questions about the different brands and models and then found us a great deal on the stroller.When it came to the car seat once again she was fantastic. She explained all of the safety features and benefits of each model. Took the time to demonstrate how each one fit in our SUV, and let us really try them out.I can’t say enough good things about the service at the downtown location. If you’re looking to learn about the products go in and ask for Stephanie! She is patient, extremely knowledgeable and not in any way pushy.

Loved the inviting atmosphere and did not feel pressured to buy anything. Grace was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, especially about car seats and strollers. At least that what my husband and I were mostly in for but we will be back! Great variety of brands, colours and options.

We purchased a car seat on black Friday and had to order the colour we desired. We were told it’d be available for pick up early January. Following up on that order, on January 18th, we decided to give the shop a phone call as we had no news from them. We were told that the shipping of the car seat was delayed and that we’d be looking at a mid February delivery. When we showed up at the shop a couple of days later, that wait time increased to late February/early March. As our son had since outgrown his car seat, we had no other option but getting the only one left at the store which was obviously not the colour desired. When we asked for a goodwill gesture according to this poor experience, the management / owner on the phone with their staff simply said « No way ». So we basically spent $700 there and ended up with the wrong colour but nobody seemed to care about honouring delivery on time. Zero integrity. Very poor customer service. Any other place, even online, would do better.

One of the best customer service in Victoria, the staff is amazing and helpful, they follow up with the customer and they respond quickly!Christina and Stephani are really awesome people they helped to fix some issues even after the warranty was expired, they do their best to help!Big thanks

I purchased a Baby K'tan Carrier is amazing! I use it all the time with my infant and absolutely love it! The staff was amazing at helping me see how to use it and try it on in stores!
