The room prices are too expensive for what you get... The location is nice and the views are beautiful however I've had similar for cheaper. The blonde at the check in counter is really rude, condescending, unfriendly, and made me feel like not being there. I can't say I would come back. The desserts at the restaurant are good, though.

Westin Bayshore… where to startImpeccable waterfront location in coal harbour. Walking distance to many restaurants and neighbourhood including Stanley park. From the moment we Checked in to our early check out, the entire staff at the Bayshore were amazing. I am a Marriot member and was given a complimentary upgrade and since we were travelling with a toddler we were also given a fridge, microwave and tea kettle. We arrived early at 12:30pm and were given a room right away.We enjoyed the afternoon in the heated pool outside. It was a cool crisp day and the heated towels and dry sauna were a nice added touch. The H2 restaurants was great.. not too crowded with attentive staff. The service was great… one of the busers even ran outside and refilled the propane tank so we may sit around the fire table post dinner ( blankets provided). Our one night was eventful and a lot of fun. Unfortunately my son got sick the next morning and I asked if it was possible to check out early. Without any hesitation or fees I was allowed to check out. The service operater was caring and asked how my son was, the luggage attended even ran and got us an extra box of tissues for our car, and the front desk was more than gracious. This was by far their finest moment.. I was thoroughly impressed and relieved. We will definitely be back !!!

The Westin has got it right with this hotel! We had the most breathtaking view of Vancouver harbour with boats & mountains and even rowers practicing each morning on the water. The cherry blossom trees were all in bloom around the outdoor pool which was open & hot in March along with outdoor saunas. We enjoyed the coffee at the hotel cafe. They also have a gym, in-door pool, Peloton studio & are in the process of opening a Pilates/Yoga Studio. When my son injured his leg wound (post surgery) one of the hotel management came to our room with a first aid kit & then was able to recommend a good local Walk In Clinic so we didn't get stuck in emerg for hours. Our family will be coming back here to stay as Wellness really is central to the ethos of this hotel!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff are the best we have come across. So helpful and friendly. The hotel is so well situated in the city overlooking the mountains and a beautiful look over the bay. With some beautiful yachts. Also the food is second to none ???

I recently stayed at the Westin Bayshore and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the hotel phone didn't even work, making it impossible to contact anyone for assistance. When I requested creamer for my coffee from the front desk, it took a whopping 1.5 hours for it to arrive, and by then, my coffee was already cold. Frustrated by the delay, I ended up leaving to buy coffee from a nearby café. To make matters worse, the room was plagued with condensation issues, forcing me to wipe down the windows with a towel every single day just to see outside. The only redeeming qualities were the hotel's location and the pool, but honestly, those hardly made up for the myriad of issues I encountered during my stay. Needless to say, I won't be returning anytime soon.

Be prepared to carry your own cutlery if you plan to order food from outside. The restaurant does not provide any plates or spoons if you ask them to carry it in room. Pay $200 for a night and still pack all your utensils from home. Pathetic service and

It is a very good hotel and well-managed, but the reason it has no choice but to give it a low rating is because it passes costs on to guests under the pretext of ESG and causes inconvenience to guests. Before checking in to this hotel, we recommend that you go to a nearby supermarket and buy a bottle of water. If you did not buy bottled water, you are responsible for protecting the environment. This wonderful and luxurious hotel does not provide any common bottled water. Then, even reusable plastic water bottles are not provided. Only two glasses are provided in the room. How should I drink water? Buy a tumbler (plastic water bottle) for a few dollars for a few dollars at the front desk or Starbucks on the first floor (this is a purchase. We never lend it or give it out for free) and drink water from the water purifier located on each floor, which is suspected to be tap water. You must take it and drink it. If you have a large family, you will need to buy more plastic water bottles. If you do not purchase a water bottle, whenever you feel thirsty, you will have to leave the room and fetch water from the water purifier in front of the elevator, holding a small glass cup like a thirsty deer looking for water. I wonder what ESG has to do with hotels providing bottled water. I think that paying more than $10 to make plastic water bottles that will only be used when staying at this hotel and then discarded will actually emit more carbon. ESG makes money. (Because the hotel can save money) If you really care about the environment and want to reduce your carbon footprint, rather than not providing bottled water in your room, you should double-glaze the windows and damn sashes using old, non-insulating single glass. Wouldn't using glass sashes help the global environment by reducing wasted heating costs in hotels?Nevertheless, this hotel offers excellent customer service, an old-fashioned interior, and a feel of its roots. Surprisingly, there was no noise between floors, and seeing a group of people presumed to be Americans trying to have a party in the room last night, they were quickly stopped by security staff and almost kicked out, so I was able to stay with great peace of mind. Next to the restaurant, there is a reasonably sized warm swimming pool (not very warm, but lukewarm) and sauna facilities, as well as an indoor swimming pool. What's surprising is that there is a workout facility equipped with Peloton bikes, and it was nice to get a lot of exercise after playing Peloton (there's a water purifier in the workout room!! It's full of plastic cups!), so don't buy a water bottle, just drink water here. Even drinking... this is why it is said to be insincere)The rooms are neat and tidy, but the bathroom doesn't have a glass door, so after showering you're just in a sea of water. There is only a sunflower faucet and no shower head that can be used. The Wi-Fi speed is quite fast for work. It is not difficult to zoom or huddle. However, since it is unsecured Wi-Fi, I am concerned that it could be shared with other people. The room TV is disappointing overall for the Marriott. It takes patience to watch TV because the remote control buttons are hard to press, let alone YouTube or Netflix. And since the TV is fixed to the wall, installing Chromecast via HDMI is quite difficult.Advantages.1. Very good location (close to Stanley Park, the promenade along the beach, and downtown)2. Great view. quiet hotel3. Bar restaurant French fries are delicious4. Various exercise facilities (Peloton Studio)5. Free bicycle rental available6. Surprisingly fast Wi-Fidisadvantage1. Damn ESG, no bottled water. They don't even give you a water bottle.2. The outdoor swimming pool is too cold to swim on a cold day.3. Breakfast is somewhat poor4. Shower room without glass door. Fixed (sunflower) faucet5. Air conditioning system without wind volume control6. The TV remote control doesn't work well and it's not a Marriott TV. HDMI connection is inconvenient7. Open Wi-Fi that anyone can connect to, not Wi

This was the first time I have ever stayed here and I must say it was awesome. The hotel is beautiful and even though myself and a family member had arrived several hours before the check in time, the hotel was able to get us checked into a different room right away. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
