Great variety of postcards by local and global artists! I have noticed that the owner Masami is much more knowledgeable than the other staff. If you ask her for a specific brand or artist, she knows exactly where to find it in her tiny, lovely little store. This is the only store I know of in Vancouver that sells Inkognito and Nouvelles Images branded postcards.

The store is not big but has all types of postcards. Found the one that I loved a lot. Will mail the postcards to friends and come back here again for more.

Lots of nice cards but they should work on customer service. its not correct when the store is open and a customer goes in, a person tells it lunch time and pull the customer clothes to the exit door! Its not nice.

Headed to Postcard Place on the advice of Google following a search for somewhere that stocks tasteful/classic/unique postcards of Vancouver - I was not disappointed. Situated in a blue “mall” across from the market, the small store was a treasure trove! A wonderful selection of Vancouver cards in addition to many others, including beautiful printed cards and postcard collections. The owner was lovely and welcoming and we bonded over our enthusiasm for Angela Harding - so much so that I was VERY generously gifted an Angela Harding advent calendar for use later this year. Such a thoughtful gesture and so very appreciated! A wonderful memory of my visit to Granville Island!

A tiny little shop jam packed with the best postcards you can find! If you're looking to send some delightful snail mail, come find your selection of paper mailing here! Designs range from unique to vintage. Much better than any souvenir shop you'd typically see anywhere else. Take your time to browse through!

This is my absolute favourite store in Vancouver, maybe my favourite store in the world. Anytime I'm back in the city, I have to hop over to Granville Island to visit this amazing tiny shop. It has one thing and one thing only: postcards. The name doesn't lie, it is THE place for postcards. This tiny store within one of the arts and crafts buildings on Granville is jam packed with postcards from floor to ceiling. Prices can range from $2-$5+ depending on the size. You can buy postcard sets or individual ones. There are special occasion cards (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc.) but also just random ones that reflect all types of themes. She also showcases a lot of local artists which is great. I've gotten tons of unique Vancouver-themed cards every time I visit. As a snail mail enthusiast who spends way too much time on Postcrossing, stamp chain cards, and general swapping, I've sunk quite a bit of money here. The postcards are cheaper once you get to the buy 5 / buy 10 mark and there are just so many to mix and match from. The lady who runs the store is also incredibly nice. When I told her I was from out-of-town, she gave me her card and mentioned that if I find anything I like, I can email her and she would be willing to ship them to me. I haven't taken her up on her offer yet, but one of these days!

The written word is dead, they say. Nobody sends letters anymore, they say. The only things in the mail these days are pre-approved credit card offers, L.L. Bean catalogs, and political attack flyers, they say. Well, what they say is all wrong, and this delightful little shop proves it. Sure, there's email and DMs to slide into. There's the Gram. There's even Twitter, for now anyway. But those can't replace the pure whimsy and fun that you get with a postcard. And the Postcard Place? They sell postcards. All types of postcards. Postcards for everyone.Seriously. Get a postcard. Write on it with a real pen. Mail it to someone. You'll brighten their day.

It is impossible that this place has so few reviews!!!It is a true Vancouver gem and a staple of my Vancouver upbringing.Over the years I have found so much joy in the perfectly curated selection of postcards. So many rare, funny, romantic, spooky and warm images. They are perfect for sending to loved ones or just keeping for your own collection.

I found great variety and good quality cards in this little shop. The Fern Collection was my favourite. Definitely worth a visit - especially if you are from out of town and need some postcards.
