We know this store around 20 years. Excellent food products that you cannot find in any Canadian stores. Service always great! Price? Price right now is skyrocketing everywhere, for everything! I remember gasoline for .39 cents. Now $2.20 for premium. And you don't ask cashier in gas station " why so expensive"?I say- don't save in your health ?

Today, March 6, 2023, I thought I found a gem for European imported foods. I did not check the "best before" dates. I threw out 5 of the 6 items I bought when I got home and looked more carefully.CHECK BEST BEFORE DATES.My own stupidity and trust.

Unmarked pricing. The cashier will charge you what she feels at the moment. We were charged us $24 for a small bag of old freezer burned perogies. If they are looking to limit the customer base they certainly have done it with a local here.

It is a pity that there is no rating below one star. The owners of this store are very arrogant, rude and impudent, like hucksters, especially when you ask about prices. Very often they sell expired not fresh products. Everyone always praises.The prices are always too high ,no labels at some of them. It's not very pleasant to deal with owners.

I've been to Steveston so many times over the years and I just discovered that this exists! It's hidden in the alley, but once you find it you'll be in for aisles full of Eastern European delights.

We passed by this market one the way to fisherman’s wharf. Such a hidden gem. Wonderful service. Makes us feel like going to east-Europe.Overall very nice experience.I really can’t wait to try all their snacks.
