Knowledgeable and helpful staff. If you have questions, they have answers. If they don't have what you need, they will get. Their prices on the things that I purchased were comparable to Lowes and Home Depot.

Great family owned business. Competitive pricing. Great customer service will take you to the area of item looking for and stay and answer questions not just point in a general direction.

If you are looking for a real old time Hardware store in the Rogers/Bentonville area this is it. The people who work here are knowledgeable, kind and helpful. You may find some things a little cheaper at one of the big box home stores but on any big project it will even out because some things are cheaper. Price is not everything however, if you have a question about something here you will find someone who can point you in the right direction. This is the only place in the area where you can still buy nuts bolts and screws by the pound, even stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts of all types. Need a grade 8 hardened 1/2 bolt with fine threads? Here is where you can find it. Need metric hardware, here you can find it and they have the tools to determine what thread pitch you need. Need aluminum square stock, angle, square tubing, they have the best selection in stock. They also have steel stock, flat, angle, square tubing in 3 ft and 6 ft lengths. Need PEX plumbing parts, copper pipe, even black iron, or galvanized pipe, they have a reasonable stock of it. This store has been around long before they took on the "True Value" branding. They also have a good lumber selection, plywood and other sheet goods. The paint department is just as good as the big box stores and the prices are reasonable.I have never in 20+ years went to Garner's looking for something that if they didn't have it, they would point me to a place that had it or they could order it. I am talking about really odd stuff, like 1/8 inch pipe fittings. I am a ham radio operator and when building an experimental antenna I sometimes come up with strange things I am trying to find..I have been trying to think of something to down rate them for and the only thing I can come up with is that parking can be an issue if they are really busy, but all you have to do is drive into the lumber yard and you will find a place to park your truck and trailer.
