Went in to pick up some fabric and did my best with the limited supply the store offered. When it came to getting the fabric that I needed cut as two associates didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I was standing there. The associate grabbed the fabric and started to cut 1 yard before I stopped her and asked for five. I got no apology for not asking for the correct yardage. The two associates continued to chatter and not having any kind of engagement with me. I continued to the front where the associate checking us out asked only two questions my phone number and do I want a receipt. I was very disappointed in my experience at Joann fabric. I felt that no one even wanted me there.

I’ve worked in retail my whole life, I get the struggle, however this place is unreal. The online stock vs in store stock is consistently wrong. The store itself looks like a war zone and employees act like you asked them to sacrifice their first born when asked for assistance. On multiple occasions I have been told to just “order it online” when in store shopping for something that is not on the shelf but the app shows 10+ in inventory. If I wanted to order it online I wouldn’t have come in to the store. Another reoccurring issue is employees are consistently not aware of/refuse to acknowledge sales advertised via the app/website. This is specifically for sales advertised as both “in-store/online” and when asked about it because there are no signs, you once again get the “well then order it online” response because they cannot be bothered to do their job. Almost every trip you can guarantee you will find anywhere from 2-5 employees gathered at the fabric cutting station chatting away while a single high school aged barely trained employee is shaking with anxiety as the sole cashier facing a line of 8+ customers trying to use coupons and price match, which requires a code/privilege they don’t have so they have to call a manager who takes 15 min to show up and leaves immediately even though every other customer is also going to require the same override.If you manage to get through the gauntlet of stock carts, boxes, etc. find the item you need actually for once on the shelf, and get it at a reasonable price/the advertised price on the website, and be able to check out in a timely manner without causing a teenager to have an existential crisis, you should consider yourself lucky and never come back here because it’ll never happen again.

I had several yards of fabric, one of which was upholstery which I requested 8 inches and apologized for the trouble! Got home, to Missouri, and it was 6 inches on each end and tapered to 3 in the center!! Not very happy!!!!!

I love the vinyl table cover I bought at Joann's. I had previously bought one online and was not happy at all. At Joann', I saw and felt the material before buying it and that is what I will do, again! Everyone is friendly and helpful and everything is easy to find. Even better, it cost less than what I had gotten on Amazon!!!

The employee was rude and didn’t scan all my coupon when I asked her she said she did but upon looking at the receipt she only scanned one. Very disappointing won’t be going back.

A good selection of fabric "but can be pricey so look for sales". And a nice selection of flowers and crafts. Again, look for sale ads or it can be expensive.$$$

I'm glad we have Joann Fabric. I crochet so I go between Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby for yarn. I don't like ordering online i like to support our local businesses.I suggest getting the yarn you need for your project because if they have a big sale your color might be out if you run out in the middle of a project.Most times I can find what I'm looking for staff has always been nice. It's a small craft store but so thankful we have it.They do offer decent coupons which helps since yarn is getting expensive now.

If there was a negative star review, that’s what this store deserves. I used my card to pay for my purchase, clerk insisted the machine was not working properly and could only take cash… so I paid cash. Guess what, the charge went through on my card as well. Go bk to the store and the manager was completely unprofessional & dismissive, didn’t want to help before the problem was described. Said it was card vendor issue and would have to call customer service. Will NEVER be back. Things happen, situations can be resolved, they were not interested in resolving anything. Sad part, there were at least 5 elderly women that this happened to at the same time I was there. Hope they check their bank accounts…
