Absolutely beautiful area. We stayed two nights, hiked the trails, loved the expansive views.Dinner at the Lodge was excellent (pot roast special) and the price was reasonable. The park ranger came by to visit and he was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We discussed motorcycles and he gave us trail maps of areas we had no clue existed. We’ll definitely be back to ride those trails.

Gorgeous! Lodge is beautiful. It was a perfect day to visit - no crowds and cooler temps. I bet it is absolutely gorgeous in the fall.

Great views from this state park. Few nice lookouts with views. Great overnight opportunity at the new lodge to enjoy beautiful serene nights with starry skies and wild animals on the grounds of the hotel after night falls

Lovely place to camp! One thing I really enjoy is that the temperature is cooler up here. Makes sleeping in a tent at night lovely.

Fantastic campground with good shower facilities. Our campsite was nice and clean and spread out which made our stay nice. I use a hammock and they made sure I had trees at my camp spot. Remember it's the highest point in Arkansas so it's always colder than the local towns... FYI.

Was told the time to visit here is spring. When the blooms and the bears are coming out. The views are spectacular. Didn't visit the lodge, it just to busy. Cameron Bluff drive was worth the trip here. Limited cabins & camping. Not sure about the lodge. Seems like horseback riding, biking, and hiking are the main to dos here. Will be back when the weather is nicer to hike up Signal Hill Trail and stand on Arkansas' highest point and watch for bears.

Such a beautifully kept park! We had lunch at the Lodge, and was surprised to see it was a gourmet buffet! The food was full of flavor and our server was great. The mountain views out of the huge windows just added to our incredible lunch experience! We did the trail to the summit, which was easy and clearly marked. There was some pretty steep sections to it though, no matter which way you decide to go up. We even seen some cute lil chipmunks along the way. After lunch we enjoyed some of the overlook sections, and headed off to our next destination. We will come back again when we can spend more time here.

I wanted to show cabin #4 which is a dog friendly cabin at Mount Magazine. This is a single bed room cabin with great accommodations. The couch has a hide a bed if there are more people to stay. You only need to bring food and hiking gear. The rest is provided in the cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin for those who have dogs. They have a lomit of only two dogs. Our Boston Terrier, Oliver had a great time exploring. The lodge has a restaurant and swimming pool. The cabin has a hot tub which was great after a day of hiking. Overall, I would have stayed longer if more days were available. Respectfully, Richard and Robbie

Amazing scenery with fantastic camp grounds and visitors center. If you want deep wilderness and picturesque vistas this is the best Arkansas can offer. Like most state parks there needs to be some modernization with their maps, info boards, and online presence but once you make it to your destination you won’t be disappointed. Insider tip: Highly recommend the browns camp ground cliff trail out to the communication towers. Awesome relatively flat trail that wraps the cliff side.

They do not offer any Military or Police discount. So, because they were booked I had to change rooms. At least the 2nd day I didnt have to wait for my other room I got right in. The rooms were clean except the King room, there were bugs in the Jacuzzi and the housekeeping left a magic eraser by the Jaccuzzi. After letting the front desk know about Jacuzzi, it was still dirty when I returned 2 hours later, so i cleaned out the bugs and left the magic eraser on the floor. Other than that it was good. The beds were hard, so I woke up alot in the night. I think the Restaurant The Skycrest was the worst. They leave you waiting to be seated for a real long time. The service other than that was good. The food wasnt that good for the price. The last morning I went for breakfast and they dropped my toast. I was told they made more but took forever to get it. Then with no one in the dinning room it took them forever to take my payment. My first night I was told they were busy and shorthanded but I was almost done eating when I finally got my drink. The Buffet was horrible The sign said BBQ although I never saw BBQ the buffet was empty and dirty and the lettuce was brown and wilted. The desert was the best part of the whole meal. Other than the stay its a beaultiful place to visit

Unbelievable. The restaurant part of this lodge is usually great. I've eaten here multiple times and never had any issues with food or service but today, omg The breakfast buffet was old at 9:30am and had about 1/4th cup of hash browns that were super dry and over cooked. The manager was rude. I will never come back here with my family again. The service was unacceptable.

Way more spectacular than I expected. Awesome overlooks! This park has it all, even a massive lodge. We will be back sometime to explore the area more.

The views and the awesome rangers/staff get this a 5 star. With that said, our favorite and what we thought was the prettiest trail is not an official trail. go to the office and ask for a map of the dripping springs trail.
