I just moved to Arkansas . We moved to Arkansas to pursue our dreams, goals and business opportunities . We decided to make Magnolia Walmart 00083 our primary store for the majority of our needs. My fiancé and I first experience at the Magnolia Arkansas Walmart 00083 located at 60 Highway 79 N. was absolutely horrific and a drastic experience.
My fiance and I reached out to Magnolia Arkansas police department on that night ..The Magnolia Police department checked everything and nothing was stolen and asked Josh to remove the picture. We reached out to the police because we never want to have this happen again, especially not in front of our five year old.
After our first encounter with Josh, every time we go into the Magnolia Walmart store 00083 we are getting followed and harassed by the employee Josh . On May 31, 2024 my fiance , 5 year old daughter and myself went into Walmart. We were grabbing a few things for our new garden and a battery charger for the mud ride the next day.
We went to customer service where Manager Kaylon assisted me return two items which were pulled up using my Walmart credit card. As we turn around to leave customer service, Josh follows us. Then we go pick up everything on our list and more. The entire time Josh followed us around the store like he always does. We headed to the back to get a battery charger, where we asked Gabe in sporting goods for assistance. Gabe walked off to go grab the key to get access to battery chargers. Here comes Josh now walking and talking to Gabe. When Gabe returned with the key. We begin to inform Gabe on how Josh has been treating us and making us feel very uncomfortable. I've had enough of Josh following us around and now he's trying to inform Gabe on how to do his job , was the feather that broke the camel's back.
I told my fiance to leave the basket and charger and let’s go talk to the manager about Josh. I went to the front of the store and spoke with Kaylon the customer service manager . “I informed you in the past that Josh followed us outside that night to our car and took pictures and now he's following us around.May you please call him to the front so we can get this issue resolved?” I Met Josh and politely asked him, “ why do you follow us around every single time we come into this store”? Josh the loss prevention manager screams at the top of his lungs “Get out my store !” I told Josh I was not leaving until he provided me with a valid reason for why he continues to harass us each time we come there.
We reached out to the Walmart corporation on several occasions. Reached out to the magnolia Arkansas Walmart to speak with the store manager, which was always unsuccessful. Then Josh started answering the phone and we stopped calling. I reached out to the ethics department on several occasions.
We just want to know why we were banned and if the ban can be lifted. Saying someone looks suspicious is not a valid reason for a ban. We truly believe we are being retaliated against due to us standing up to Walmart Loss Prevention Manager Josh for continuous harassment.
Now we are emailing our Walmart harassment and ethical concerns. We have reached out to the ethics department to file ethics and customer service complaints. The employee Josh has now gotten us banned from all Walmarts, Sam’s and Murphys. This was the second face to face encounter with the employee. We have reached out to Magnolia police to get assistance with the employee in the past.
We have no problem with Loss prevention doing their job. They can check our receipt, basket or whatever is in their job description. We do have a problem when someone humiliates,embarrasses, belittles, generalizes ,harasses, torments and is prejudiced towards my family and I. It’s not fair that Josh is able to retaliate by banning my fiancé and I because we stood up for ourselves when we did not feel safe, comfortable or at ease with him following us outsid

I mean it's Walmart what do you want me to say.
Edit for 2024-I mean it's still Walmart what do you expect me to say. I will say that the Walmart in magnolia Arkansas has some downsides at times but what place doesn't. For the most part it's a good store. 85% of it is good 15% is bad

There were no bags available in self checkout and very little and the maned checkouts. A worker told me orders for bags were put in a few times and they still haven’t received any. One customer was checking out and put groceries in her cart without bags. I REFUSED TO DO THAT!!! Employees asked us to complain, because apparently corporate doesn’t listen to their workers.. DO BETTER WAL-MART!!!
