Corn maze, tractor rides, rows and rows of fruit/apples, and the kids loved the cider donuts and popcorn!

We had a fantastic afternoon today at the farm. Picked apples, bought some corn, cider, cider donuts, pumpkins. Enjoyed made to order flatbread pizzas and had fun going through the corn maze. Locust Grove was such a nice change from the bigger apple picking orchards I've been to before. I'll definitely be back next summer when more fruits, veggies and flowers are still in season, and in the fall for apples.

Just got done shopping at the Union Square farmers market and my experience at this farm stand was so bad I had to share. My mom and I thought their sugar plums looked good so I was asking the man in the picture who was standing directly in front of us how to pick the ripest sugar plums because some were bright yellow, orange-ish and some were pink-ish/red-ish but before I could even get past, "How do we..." this EXTREMELY RUDE man cut me off and said "They're all sugar plums" and walked away. He didn't even bother making eye contact with us. SO damn rude my mom and I had to leave and I needed to take a picture of this person to document my experience there. If you're going to Union Square market, DO NOT give your business to this farm unless you wanted to be treated poorly. Take your money to the next farm stand.
