They get -0 stars. I rented a climate controlled unit. As I was moving from another state. Assuming it was a nice clean unit that would be able to comfortably accommodate a moving truck. As I am a professional truck driver for 20+years. Once I arrived it was everything but. I was in a pick up with a smaller trailer attached. Monuvering was beyond tight. Once I arrived to the unit, which is inside a brick building. Some of the units had clearly had been broken into from the repairs on the locking mechanism. The bricks had spay foam installation repairing holes and gaps in them. The floors had dried dead grass on it. Which wouldn't be a problem any where except the facility is located between the freeway and a forested cemetery. Which suggest rodents are likely in the facility. I had to contact customer service to get me another unit. With the correct combination. Once I was able to get into my new unit. I assumed that the light bulb didn't work. The agent on the phone in formed me they don't supply electricy to the units are in the hall of the units. This unit is located inside a brick building with a tin roof. It's pitch black inside the unit. It's basically a bat cave. I'm not entering that unit. I immediately asked for a refund. The agent informed me that the refund would be mailed to me. He didn't send me a email are anything else to inform of that but okay. That's money Im out of. I ended finding a GREAT unit with STOREEASE on Colonel Glenn. Highly recommend it. Bluetooth entry, 24hr access, clean and lighted

The place really socks cause I rented the storage and then I could not get into Facility to be able to put my stuff into the storage unit. Because the driveway was too narrow for me to get through with my Truck in trailer so I still had to go else where with no refund

Says “move in today” but gate code isn’t active for 24hrs after reservation per their customer service line. Was given temp gate code for “one week”. Huge sign that says 24/7 above the gate. Could not get any one to answer the phone on the customer service line for 45 mins while I was locked out of the gate at 7pm because the temp code no longer worked all the same day as I made the reservation.Had to go back and unload the uhaul I had rented to move and return it. Finally got someone to answer the next day around 10am. Was informed it is not 24/7 gate access because they are “making changes” and apparently one of the changes isn’t to post a sign with the new hours anywhere at the facility. Decided to cancel the entire transaction. The gate code also did not work after 24hrs from activation either. Had to get another uhaul to get the stuff out of the unit and into another unit. So in total a $53 unit cost me about $300 after all the uhaul fees and gas. Don’t recommend.

One reason I chose this storage facility is that there is a huge billboard on a major highway that says "24/7 Access". This is a blatant lie. They are only open until 7PM. Nobody works at the facility; it's all automated yet the electronic gate will not open after 7, while it's still light for much of the year. They are only open for 2 hours after most people get off work, which means we have to schedule moves around their crazy hours. I brought this false advertising issue up to them when I was locked out of my unit (so I was on the phone with them anyway) and the customer service rep said "We are trying to get that sign changed. It was the previous owners who did that." I have had this unit for a year and a half. They know that people are mad about their false advertising, they are not planning on changing the sign and they have actually trained their customer service reps to lie about this.My unit was broken into and the insurance I was required to purchase only reimbursed me half of the replacement cost of the stolen items, not to mention the sentimental value of those items.I bought a lock from a machine at the storage unit after my previous lock was removed by thieves. This lock cost $12 and I am now having to hire a locksmith to grind it off. I called Red Dot before calling the locksmith and they said I would have to wait until the next day to have it cut off because the supervisor cannot be bothered with me until then. Plus I would have been charged to remove a lock that I bought from them. I would rather pay $60 to a locksmith who is making an honest living than give another cent to Red Dot.As if moving weren't stressful enough without all of this scamming and lack of respect for customers.And to the Red Dot employee who will be responding to this review with faux concern in a manipulative PR move:F*** you too.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. I rented the unit and was told I had until 7pm to get there and have the unit loaded. We got there at 6 and the gate key I was given didn't work. It said my account was suspended. No one was there at the location and so I called 4 different numbers trying to get a hold of someone. I literally had 4 different phones calling 4 different numbers just to give us the best chance of getting ahold of someone. This went on for an hour before they all stopped ringing at 7pm and said they were closed for the day and that we had to call back the next day.

Price was good then I realized why, it's only open until 7pm but the sign outside says 24/7 loud and clear which is very misleading and frustrating when your trying to move your things. And there is nobody local to help with your issue

Only went there yo pick up a unit we bought. Didn't really feel safe but the person that worked there was very nice and helped us very much!

First of all I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYBODY!! I rented a unit from them a couple days ago, got there couldn't access the gate, tried calling several customer service numbers and couldn't get anyone!!! They are NOT 24/7 AS ADVERTISED either!! When we finally got in the gate I couldn't even get into my storage that was assigned because there was a lock already on it, as we were walking through we noticed several broken locks on the units, homeless people have made homes out of the unit, it was very unclean and smelled HORRIBLE!! there is graffiti written everywhere, etc. There's NO MANAGER there to even help assist if needed.... If I could give 0 stars I would.. This place is a DUMP!!

Our stuff wasn't even in the unit a full week and somebody cut the lock and stole about 95% of our belongings. I hope you thives enjoy my dirty clothes. Punks!

The sign says 24/7 access but after 7 p.m we can't get in the gate to even access our storage unit. And my husband is not happy about it either!
