480 for new starter out on, got me running and out quick, always gets the job done.Only negative was having to pay a $13 fee for using my card to pay, that was a bit excessive.

Absolutely rudes, the lady that answers the phone is rude & very unprofessional. Stated that they charge 3% for debit & after getting upset. Then stated they would only accept cash. I would never recommend anyone to them. I just moved here from Little Rock not a good look Gerald's Auto of Jonesboro!!!Can you say BBB....

Horrible service that lady in the office doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She’s oblivious to the world around her and if you take your vehicle there expect to have it all day long or freaking two days. I guess it’s just him working that shop I got an idea hire some more people or don’t take on more work What an inconvenience by taking my vehicle to the shop never again avoid this place at all. Cost horrible horrible service.

You get top notch service here. They even drove from Jonesboro AR to Matthew's MO to get us up and running again.

I dropped my car off at 7:30 am right when they opened for a brake inspection. My car was never touched until the next day at around 8:30 am. Finally received my estimate at 12:30 pm that day. From signing in and dropping off the vehicle it took over 24 hours to inspect and give an estimate for brakes. My estimate was nearly DOUBLE the price of local competitors. I will spare y’all the specifics of the finances but let’s just say I saved a total of $400 going to Plaza Tire. At Gerald’s I was told to sign a waiver because my car was deemed “too dangerous” which I gladly agreed to sign and understood. The lady in the front office claimed that she didn’t know how to type up the waiver and I would have to wait for a separate employee to type it up. She also complained about the time I arrived there, she said I was supposed to be there at 3:00 even though it was already known by both parties no repairs were going to take place on my vehicle. So I can pick up MY vehicle whenever I please. Plaza Tire inspected, and gave me my estimate within 45 minutes of me dropping it off. They even offered to help work around my work schedule. Currently my car is waiting for to pick up at PLAZA TIRE the very same day after saving a whopping $400. The lady in the office at Gerald’s Automotive was VERY rude, told me Plaza Tire would not be any help, told me she didn’t know how to write up the waiver for me to sign…. but later she was the one that had to verify the waiver after I watched a separate employee write it up. That doesn’t make any sense now does it? After receiving my keys I was never told where my car was parked at. They literally said “it’s in the front or back” so I had to wander the parking lot for my car. Just do not go to Gerald’s Automotive if you are reading this. Do better guys

I would NEVER do business with them ever again. Worst customer service Ive had in a long time. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you use a credit card they charge a fee. You find that out at the end.Service: Auto maintenance

I don't like the idea of leaving my vehicle long periods of time just to keep my place in line for repairs I mean for days on end when I could maybe overnight or bring it before they open for business the day they are going to work on it

Check engine light came on. Code given was a bad sensor around the driveshaft. Gerald's recommended a whole new transmission. I went ahead and trusted them on it. This is where it fell apart. Was told two weeks to receive it, no biggie. Two weeks plus a few days rolls around, stopped in to check on it. "Not here yet, maybe a few more days". Stopped by in a few more days "It'll be here tomorrow and ready on whateverday". Whateverday" rolls around and zero communication on their behalf. I called the next day. "Well, we got the new transmission installed, but it didn't fix the problem. Ordered a new part it'll be here in # days. Oh yeah, and we put these parts on it too...". Ummm, okay?¿? Nearly a month and a half after dropping it off they finally call me to tell me it's ready but about $500 over what was quoted originally. During the process, they proceeded to put these extra parts on it without clearing it with me beforehand. I refused to pay for something I didn't authorize. They proceeded to then charge me their "cost" So my two biggest problems were absolutely ZERO communication with updates to me after the initial diagnosis of needing a new transmission. I had to reach out every time to get stinking updates on my car. Number two was putting $500 of parts on my car without authorization beforehand. Probably would have been no big deal if they had cleared it with me.
