I have nothing but praise for my experience in this shop.
I am a mechanic myself and still rarely have a good experience in a bike shop. Not sure of the name of the guy who helped me but he showed me gravel rides and gave great tips and was nothing but helpful. Whoever that guy is, give him a raise.

Gearhead had my bike for 5 weeks to put on a new big ring. They where rude on the phone they kept interrupting me and would not let me talk. Picked up today because they hadn't worked on it, but they gave it back without the old ring and they said "we threw it away".

Love this place.Super friendly people.Very clean store.Great selection of brands.NorthfacePatagoniaEtc..You can occasionally catch a good sale as well.Worth going to, especially if you've never been.

Very disappointed with their customer service. We went to get TWO bikes for my sons, and no one greeted us or tried to help us in anyway. WE had to ask where the bikes were and after being pointed to the direction of the bikes, absolutely no one offered to help us. We looked around and it was obvious we needed help and were completely ignored. We were the only customers in the bike area and there was only one other customer in the store. They lost the opportunity to sell two bikes to an eager grandmother who wanted to get her grandsons new bikes for their birthday.

I drove an hour and a half to come buy a couple of bikes. The employees were more interested in talking about lunch than helping me find a bike. After taking a bike and putting it back on the shelf and standing and looking for a while, someone came to help me. I have never been talked down to by a sales person before. He treated me like I was stupid and couldn't afford their bikes. I was planning on buying two bikes and would have been happy to pay the asking price if I wasnt talked down to and told to go to Academy spirts.. I walked out frustrated and in disbelief. I know I don't look like their average customer, and you made it clear. You all missed out on a $5000 sale today. Maybe the next time someone says to you that they want to buy a bike, you will offer to fit them, help them find the right bike and offer customer service. I truly hope you guys got a good lunch.

Big Herb walked up in here ready to buy two bikes. I didn't get the name of the fella that assisted me. He had long hair and tattoos is best description. I was asked what I was looking for. I told him I was interested in hybrid bikes. It wasn't terrible service but it could've been better. Wasn't sure what size and model I needed as I was just introduced to the Specialized brand. He pointed out the models and priced one for me. His assistance was rather short as he went behind counter and began playing solitaire on the computer rather than assist. I got the vibe that he didn't feel we could afford the bikes or our age was an issue. Picked that up in our conversation. Drove hour and a half to get top notch help and was expecting it as I had previously read the reviews. Maybe I just got the wrong person but I wasn't impressed. He didn't try to sell the brand to me or educate me at all. Could be it wasn't far from closing and he was ready to leave. Seemed to be reluctant to go out on a test drive because of heat. The store was very clean and organized. I liked the atmosphere. Big Herb will be moving on to something else but still recommends that you stop in here for your own experience.
