I took a tire there to be repaired today. The attendant informed me that my tire could not be repaired because the nail had hit an existing patch and they could not work on it. They offered to order me a new tire since they did not have my current tire size in stock. However, I was visiting from Dallas and did not have time to wait. I took my tire to the Walmart Supercenter. They were able to repair my current patch AND fix another small hole in the tire. I do not appreciate the fact that Tire Express was hoping I would leave my tire there and that they could repair it and resale it…all while having me to buy a new tire. It all felt very shady.
It could simply be a matter of difference in professional opinion…but I would proceed with caution when choosing to do business here.

! Went there to get a tire and was sold a shotty tire. Told him we were going on a trip and need this fixed. And gave me a tire that leaked air! This happened on Friday, and while on the road the “check tire pressure” came on and sure enough, it was the tire they gave me. Was able to take it today Monday, and the tire is not patchable!! So now I get to pay for a whole nother tire! While on my trip!
Dont even go into their driveway, its full of pot holes!

I called to see if they could fix a tractor tire, and they said yes. I showed up with the tire, and they said they don't work on those. Wasted my time.

Fast service, fair prices. $20 for a patch on a pretty bad screw in my tire. Shop doesn't have a sign out front saying it's cash only, and the staff doesn't tell you or point at the postcard sized sign in the shop until after service before demanding they hold onto your phone. Customer friendliness is a 0, and I don't trust a random stranger to hold onto my phone because they can't put a sign out front or communicate with customers effectively.
If you have cash and need a repair, probably a good experience. Otherwise, if you can make it, I'd find another shop to go to or call ahead, get a quote, and stop by an ATM on the way in.
