I was on vacation in Hot Springs and the A/C on my car went out. A few locals recommended Car Doc so I called and got scheduled for an appointment a few days later. Bill had us in and out within 25 minutes and the A/C was ice cold again! The price was reasonable - much cheaper than what I would have paid back home in St. Louis.
The shop is easy to pass because there's no Car Doc sign, only an "auto repair" flag out front. There's not a lot of room to park - there are tons of cars (kind of a junk yard feel) I don't think there's any place to sit and wait, so it's probably best to plan to drop off your car for repairs.
I'd return to Car Doc if I lived closer.

Fixing his mess up, He broke one of the lines on my fuel pump assembly and didn’t tell me. The assembly is disconnected and you can’t find it anywhere. Would not recommend you can’t trust him

My alternator went out and Car Doc had me up and running on the road within an hour with a brand new alternator. I’ve used many mechanics, and out of all of them, Car Doc is absolutely the best around. I HIGHLY recommend this company!Amazing service and great people! Trustworthy, reliable, respectful, all around 5 stars. Not many companies around that are as great as this one.Thanks Car Doc! I will definitely be using y’all again!

Bill is a great guy! He treats me and my husband so well and has helped my husband get his AC in his truck working. A very honest man. It’s hard to find good and honest mechanics nowadays. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

My 2022 Forte had a bunch of issues after a rat climbed into my engine. I did a claim with my insurance and brought it to Landers (was really only going there because of the warranty on my Forte). They took care of what I thought was all of it, but when we received the car back, the blinker was messed up still. They wanted us to put in a whole new claim, and they said due to labor, it would be $1500 to fix it—and because it was a new claim, we’d have to put down $500 again. We (me and friend) ended up taking it to Bill’s, and we went to get food while they fixed it. What Landers said would take half a day at least took not even our drive to downtown at Bill’s. We were charged $30. I gave $50 as a thanks. They always do a great job and have helped my family significantly in the past. Thank y’all.Service: Electrical repair

Car Doc is the best. I actually look forward to one of my vehicles needing work because I get to hang out with Bill and the guys. Not only do they do great work at a very reasonable rate it's one of those rare places you feel like family. Where else can say that about your car guy?

I was recommended to use Car Doc and I am very happy that I did. Bill replaced the serpentine belt on my mini van and charged a very reasonable amount. Definitely will use him again even though I live over an hour away!!
